Hermann Mayer, State Minister of the Bavarian Government, thinks he is very clever and arranges a romantic adventure with the secretary of the coalition partner's chief at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Officially, he is of course at a debate in the plenary hall of the Maximilianeum. But his plans are literally shattered by a falling sliding window: a lifeless body is wedged between the windowsill and the window frame.
The headline "State Minister caught in sex orgy with secretary and corpse" is hardly beneficial for his further career. Therefore, he follows, like so many of his kind, the political survival mechanism of concealing, deceiving, and tricking. However, hiding his already nonexistent affair simultaneously from his unsuspecting wife, a suspicious hotel manager, a shrewd waitress, a jealous husband, a lovesick nurse, and an often unconscious private detective exceeds even the political pro Mayer.
His bumbling secretary Georg Huber adds to the chaos, causing the situation, to the pure delight of the audience, to spiral completely out of control. An absurd comedy according to all the rules of the art, staged at a fast pace by the Lindenthaler Volkstheater!

Is there actually musically the "best" from the 70s, 80s, 90s...?
Surely there isn't... the "best", because there is sooo much good music!

But there is X-it!

X-it ... the band that presents carefully hand-picked titles from the "Classic Rock" genre. The five guys do this excitingly and excitedly - and without any pathos, but at the same time with an unbridled joy of playing that immediately infects the audience at every performance: "As modest as they appear, there is tension in the air at Südbahnhof from the very beginning when X-it takes the stage. In addition to classics from "Toto", "Saga", and "Queen", from "Pink Floyd" and "Manfred Mann's Earthband" - garnished with hits from other interpreters of this brilliant era - such as "David Bowie" and "Huey Lewis", among others, the five gentlemen serve up the highlights of "Peter Gabriel" like "Solsbury Hill" and "Sledgehammer" as well as "Genesis" hits like "Land Of Confusion" and "Invisible Touch".

Both artists met during their studies at the Vladiguerov Music Academy in Sofia, and both continued their education in America. Lachezar Kostov graduated from Yale University, Viktor Valkov from the Juilliard School. Each has won several international awards on their respective instruments, but together they also captivate their audience: The duo not only won the first prize for duos at the prestigious Liszt-Garrison Chamber Music Competition, but also the overall prize of the competition. Having been performing together for two decades, the two are perfectly attuned to each other.

In addition to numerous performances in the USA, the duo has already performed four times at the New York Carnegie Hall, and in 2014 they completed a successful tour in Japan.

Kostov is the Assistant Principal Cellist at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, while Valkov was appointed as a piano professor at the University of Salt Lake City after completing his dissertation in 2018.

Due to the outstanding success, we are repeating our Schubertiade from last March. For even during Franz Schubert's lifetime, there were private events where his music was at the center. This tradition is reflected in our chamber concert. Together with pianist Tobias Krampen, soprano Alexandra Steiner sings of water, waves, longing...
In the second part of the concert, the "Trout Quintet" will be performed, one of the most popular chamber music works of all time. The sunny tone of the piece reflects the happy summer months that Schubert enjoyed in 1819. The centerpiece is the fourth movement, in which Schubert adopts the melody from his own song "The Trout," which gave the work its name.

Milonga with DJ and Tango live music with dancing

Following the preceding tango workshop, there will be a milonga that is quite classic, like at a milonga in Buenos Aires, with a DJ providing the music. However, guests will also have the opportunity to listen to live Tango music, allowing them to dance or simply enjoy the music. A milonga not only refers to a dance and music genre, but also to an event where tango, waltz, and the slightly more playful dance form of milonga are danced.

With DJ Manfred and the enchanting music of three top-notch Tango musicians Facundo Barreyra (bandoneon), Martin Franke (violin), and Iris Lichtinger (piano), the atmosphere of a traditional Argentine milonga venue will be recreated right in Trostberg!

Fat Beats in the Kids' Room

"Rascals & Trumpets" make children's music on adult beats - and have been doing so since 2016. Back then, the band was founded with the goal of spicing up children's music properly. Thick beats, cool sounds, and plenty of disco for all kids and their parents, in short: a new form of children's music. And above all: live action!

Holmer, Michi, and Marco all come from the far north, the beautiful Schleswig-Holstein, but are also equipped with a large dose of love for their hometown of Hamburg. Musically, they have been and continue to be involved in various ways: Michi is, among other things, the lead singer of the Hamburg cult band "Abschlach!", Holmer has already worked as an author for the major label Universal Music, as well as a voice actor, singer, and producer in the advertising industry, and Marco has been active for years as an author of books and song lyrics - including for Hamburger SV - in the children's segment.

The songs and live performances of the rascals revolve around the most important of all young topics: play, fun, growing up, and above all, plenty of disco. Because all kids and teens have the most fun grooving, jumping, and dancing to music. Just like the two dancers of the rascals: Linda and Mia ensure the perfect visual match with their choreography during the live performances to the electronic sounds of the three Northeners, who have been at home on stages across Germany since 2016.

Christina Rommel: Chocolate – The Concert®

Before the musician performs in the world's biggest and most beautiful opera houses with her chocolate concert featuring an orchestra starting from 2025, she will tour once again at her favorite locations of recent years and has some surprises in store. Securing early tickets is worth it!

Christina Rommel is one of the most successful live musicians in the German rock/pop scene and famous for her legendary chocolate concerts. With her internationally unique show concept, the singer - along with a chocolatier and band - will perform on 02.11.2024 in Wernigerode at the Chocolate Festival ChocolART, covering the Fürstlicher Marstall with a touch of chocolate. The stage becomes a large chocolate kitchen where the musicians and chocolatier celebrate their craftsmanship at the highest level together.

To the sounds of well-known Rommel songs, a captivating musical journey through the world of chocolate begins; garnished with enjoyable chocolate stories and witty dialogues. Tempting aromas gently waft through the air and harmonize with the atmospheric chocolate backdrop. The chocolatier and chocolate boys/girls serve various samples of their skills, and of course, Christina Rommel and the band show why they are among the best live musicians in the country.

Matthias Brodowy is a classical artist: a hypochondriac who expects some kind of impending catastrophe to happen in the next moment. In doubt, a dinosaur-like meteorite impact. But actually, it is the only chance to turn the tide. Because burying your head in the sand is definitely not breathable! So why not trip up the apocalypse and simply take action? Claudia Pichler stands for modern Bavarian cabaret, charming dialect, and absurd humor. In her third solo program, the Munich native with the cheeky mouth and fresh spirit focuses on her favorite time of day: Feierabend (after work). Political greed, envious neighbors, the big questions of love in the era of online dating, to the small worries of salmonella in an over-disinfected world - Claudia fearlessly and always self-ironically tackles the issues of our time. In an era where the importance of religion is decreasing and the search for meaning is flourishing, often ending with a happiness coach. Everything must be optimized, from the morning routine to the inner child.
In the maze of modern beliefs, Claudia Pichler's amusing stories and witty songs showcase the beauty of aimless pondering, wandering, and failing, giving her audience a relaxed Feierabend.

Ralf Winkelbeiner is known for taking his audience on a journey through the madness of everyday life from the very first minute with his extremely dry and spontaneous, yet never offensive humor. Punchline after punchline - that's his thing. "Bunt" is the name of his brand new program, and the name actually reveals it all.
In his potpourri of human weaknesses and shortcomings, he leaves nothing out in his charismatic way across all topics. His hilarious perspectives on completely everyday situations, presented in the finest Bavarian dialect, provoke endless bursts of laughter from the audience. That's why Ralf Winkelbeiner is considered part of the ensemble of the widely known Quatsch Comedy Club in Germany. A hidden gem that you won't want to miss!

Monika Martin on a Grand Live Solo Tour

Under the motto 'This Love is Sent from Heaven,' exceptional artist Monika Martin embarks on an extensive live tour that once again takes her all across Germany! "I am very excited to soon embark on this tour, to stand on stage, to meet my audience again, and to together feel the power of music," says Monika Martin.

In about two and a half hours of live experience, Monika Martin, along with her audience, takes several strolls through her decades-long successful career. Her first big hit 'La Luna blu' will be featured, as well as 'Das kleine Haus am Meer,' 'Angelo,' and 'Die neue Wirklichkeit,' along with a few songs from her newly announced album set for May 2023 making their premiere.
"Fast and rhythmic songs alternate with ballads like 'Sag mir alles' and the occasional unplugged version, along with new songs and tunes that touch me, that bring back beautiful memories and that I gladly share with the audience," Monika Martin gives some insights into the show's content. 20 Years of Agrypnie - Anniversary Show with a Unique Setlist. Waldgeflüster & Eis

The circle closes: After the band Agrypnie played their very first live concert in the Steinbruch Theater in 2007, they are now returning for their anniversary show! There will be a very special and unique setlist that spans across the band's discography.

As guests, Waldgeflüster and Eis will also be there, both of which are excellent live bands and will surely ensure an unforgettable evening.
