Mandowar remains true to their successful concept: cover hits with mandolin, bass ukulele, and guitar. Small instruments - big songs - big fun.

On the new album, Mandowar looks beyond the headbanger cosmos and makes Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" sound surprisingly hard. Mandowar is not afraid to experiment with mashups: Rage Against The Machine meets Queen, Kiss meets Prince. Even wilder and more bizarre are the mixes of The Offspring, Lady Gaga, and Bon Jovi or Blur, Backstreet Boys, and Boney M. "The Joe must go on" - what else could the new album be called?

"There must be progress" has been the band's motto since the release of their last album in 2015. The band's pulsating rhythm is driven by the frenetic flamenco guitar of the charismatic frontman Charly Gitanos. The music and lyrics were written in collaboration with the Panamanian singer, songwriter, and actress ERIKA ENDER.
