When was the Defenestration of Prague? How many bits make up a byte? What is the capital of Bolivia? Whether it's for work, aptitude tests, job interviews, or conversations at a party - having good general knowledge can help you stand out anywhere. Sebastian Klussmann, a popular quizzer from the successful ARD quiz show "Gefragt-Gejagt," reveals how one can easily expand their knowledge base. For example, exploring who a street name is named after during a city walk. Or grasping football geography. Or connecting topics with emotions. What is the allure of recallable knowledge - and is it even necessary in the age of Google & Co.? Pure factual knowledge is of less concern to more and more people. They carry the world's knowledge in their pocket, always searchable on Google. Nonetheless, Klussmann sees value in it. "We should not outsource our brain to the cloud," he believes. "Our democracy functions only if we have informed citizens who can put things into context, even those beyond their own professional field." With the fact in mind, one can draw better conclusions and ask more questions. "The more knowledge we have, the more differentiated our view of the world becomes." How can one acquire knowledge sustainably? This is one of the questions Sebastian Klussmann will address in his lecture.

The musical about the unforgettable rascal on a grand tour of Germany

“Take yourself lightly – it'll spare others the work!” (Heinz Erhardt)

He once said about himself, “I have the rascal on my neck,” the humorist, actor, composer, cabaret artist, and poet Erhardt remarked. He was and still is the uncrowned king of German humor, the grandmaster of silliness and amusing wordplay. Unforgettable and unmatched!

The world premiere of the first Heinz Erhardt musical was celebrated in November 2017 in Hamburg. Among the guests were the daughters and granddaughter of the clumsy humorist with the horn-rimmed glasses, who complimented the ensemble for the musical. Initially planned only as a guest performance, the Erhardt musical was so enthusiastically received that it became a permanent fixture in its home theater, the traditional Hamburger Engelsaal. Now, the successful ensemble is touring Germany for the first time.

In a program lasting just over two hours (including a break), the performers Stefan Linker (Heinz Erhardt impersonator), Ralf Steltner, and Karin Westfal engage in a real exchange of humorous banter and recite one Heinz Erhardt poem after another. They are accompanied by piano, saxophone, and drums. Captivating melodies to humorous texts, intertwined with the life story of Germany's greatest comedian, promise a good mix of spoken and sung texts. These will be presented either individually, in duets, or as a trio. The most beautiful poems and ballads of the pun genius, many of which have been set to music for the first time, are skillfully combined and staged in one go. Whether it’s Knight Fips or King Erl, whether maggot or cow, even the sour lemons and the G-sketch will be presented at their best.

The audience will be treated to a fireworks display of wordplay, a musical full of comedic memories of the charming exceptional humorist. Allow yourself to be transported into the world of Heinz Erhardt; you won't be able to stop laughing. Promise!

Deep in the west of Europe lies a region shaped by the sea: Brittany. Countless lighthouses dot the coast, endless sandy beaches transform with the rhythm of the highest tidal range in Europe, islands like Ouessant and Belle-Île defy the force of winter storms, fishing villages nestle in deep coves, and cities like Morlaix, Saint-Malo, Douarnenez, Brest, Roscoff, and Concarneau tell stories of human life with and by the sea.
Inland, the mythical forests of Brocéliande and Huelgoat stretch out, and scattered across the land, megalithic sites like Carnac or Gavrinis testify that humans have always sought contact with the divine.
Special regions attract unusual characters, and Brittany is no exception: Joséphine left her banking career to work at one of France's largest fish auction halls, Myrdhin is considered one of France's significant harpists and Druids, Eric Baron made his Bio-Cider to the wine cellars of the Élysée Palace, the salt harvester Matthieu harvests the Fleur de Sel in Guérande, and Nadine Chaminand is dedicated to traditional headwear embroidery in Pays Bigouden.
Eli and Hartmut Krinitz explored the coast aboard a traditional sailing ship, navigated the “Canal de Nantes à Brest” with a Penichette, a cabin boat flanked by old trees, and hiked around the Crozon Peninsula on the hiking trail GR34.
In the end, all roads in Brittany lead to the sea and ultimately to Finistère, to the end of the world: where everything begins.

We find ourselves in the Paris Louvre in the year 1958. Valérie LaVoyante, an indispensable art historian at the Louvre for many years, has invited guests to a festive reception. Et voilà… You are part of this illustrious, high-profile, and art-savvy society when La Voyante suddenly drops the bombshell: The centerpiece of the Louvre, the world-famous "Mona Lisa," is not entirely genuine. A forgery! This shocking news raises many questions among all attendees. Where is the real one? Who possesses it, and is it unharmed?

Unfortunately, not everyone present will experience the resolution of these burning questions, for shortly after the revelation, a corpse is suddenly discovered! There is a cold-blooded and determined murderer in the Louvre – but who is it? The Paris police are, unfortunately, more than "prevented." Concert of Emotions

Ronny Weiland, the singer with the deep goosebump-inducing voice, is going on a tour throughout Germany with his new program "Concert of Emotions".

The idea for the new show came from the audience.

In many conversations and letters, the audience thanked Ronny Weiland for his songs being good for the soul, allowing them to experience every concert full of feelings and emotions.

The "Concert of Emotions" includes the great successes of the masters and classical melodies.

Among others, you will hear "Ode to Joy", "Ave Maria", and the song of the prisoner's chorus from "Nabucco".

Memories of childhood and youth will be awakened as Ronny sings our beautiful old German folk songs that one knows from home and learned in school, songs that accompany one throughout life.

Furthermore, Ronny sings titles that come from his own pen ("Praying Hands", "Give Back to Parents") and guarantees to fulfill the wishes of all guests when he performs the well-known "Song of the Volga Boatmen" from Franz Lehar's operetta "The Tsarevich".

Weiland impresses primarily with his magnificent voice and today belongs to one of the few artists who still present this music for the more mature audience.

The trained master stonemason received great support from the management of his great idol "Ivan Rebroff" at the beginning of his career. They recognized the talent in the Thuringian and immediately established a connection to Ivan Konsulov in Switzerland, who further trained Ronny in singing.

When visitors thank him at the end of a concert, shedding a tear moved, and spontaneously hug Ronny, it becomes clear how he repeatedly touches the hearts of people with his unique voice and down-to-earth nature!

Rudy Giovannini, the "Caruso of the Mountains," is on the road again. The South Tyrolean and 2006 Grand Prix winner will be performing in many German cities as part of his new tour.

He received his vocal training at the Conservatory of Verona and from Professor Arrigo Pola in Modena, who had previously taught Luciano Pavarotti. The famous phrase Rudy often quotes comes from his fatherly friend Pavarotti: "There is no first or second-class music, there is only beautiful or bad music, and what you want to do is beautiful music."

Today, Rudy Giovannini feels right at home in the folk music scene and has become quite a favorite with the audience, as evidenced by his numerous fan clubs. His live concerts are an experience, and his music is a true elixir of life - it has given new strength, courage, and joy to many people who had reached a low point in their lives due to setbacks. Anyone who has experienced Rudy's concert is impressed and enchanted. It’s once again a ruckus at the Osterstein household, as Sigrid and Ralf face significant changes. A move is on the horizon! Naturally, that doesn’t happen without arguments.
The boxes that Ralf organized are not sturdy enough and, furthermore, far too few to transport all of Sigrid’s wardrobe. And to part with her favorite items because of that? Out of the question, even if Ralf thinks that four house dresses and ten pairs of shoes should be enough. Sigrid, on the other hand, is completely against Ralf dragging his beer can collection to the new home. And even his toolbox could use a major decluttering. But of course, this falls on deaf ears with Ralf. Instead, he stubbornly refuses to pack Sigrid’s army of houseplants. When Ralf’s pub friends, who wanted to help with the move, also fail to show up, patience runs thin.

Will their marriage withstand this challenge as well? And how can Sigrid pack her secret eggnog stash without being noticed?
One thing is for sure: There is no peace in the box!
