No other composer has had such a significant influence on the film world in the past two decades as the Oscar, Globe, and Emmy-winning composer Hans Zimmer with his breathtaking compositions for films such as "James Bond," "The Lion King," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Gladiator," "The Dark Knight," "Man of Steel," "Inception," and "Interstellar."

The celebrated German composer Hans Zimmer, who has written the film scores for more than 200 films, won his second Oscar for "Dune" (2022), after receiving his first Academy Award for "The Lion King" (1994).

Hans Zimmer referred to Ennio Morricone as his idol and role model, from whose repertoire excerpts from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Once Upon a Time in the West" will be heard. Zimmer followed Morricone's example of composing the film music before, rather than after, the filming, reshaping the entire work. For example, he changed the beginning of Ridley Scott's "Gladiator," leading the world-renowned director to move into Hans Zimmer's studio.

Our audience favorite, a special guest from the Harry Potter films and the Harry Potter universe, will make the concert unforgettable with lots of fun and good vibes – as a popular moderator, he will talk about his experiences as an actor in Harry Potter films and about friendship, adventure, and love in the dangerous world of wizards. THE MUSIC

John Williams (“Star Wars”, “ET”, “Indiana Jones”, “Jurassic Park”) composed the music for the first three films, including the famous “Hedwig’s Theme”, the main motif of the Harry Potter films, and “Double Trouble”, as well as the fun “Aunt Marge’s Waltz” and “Witches, Wands and Wizards”. Titles like “Hogwarts Hymn” by Patrick Doyle from the fourth Harry Potter film remind the audience of the mysterious and dark world of the Triwizard Tournament. Nicholas Hooper composed “Dumbledore’s Farewell” for the fifth and sixth Harry Potter films. He has helped to shape and mature the Harry Potter music. Alexandre Desplat created “Lily’s Theme” and composed the music for the last two parts of the film series – a great and unforgettable finale and musical experience.

THE MAGICAL FILM ORCHESTRA

The magnificent film music will be presented by the Magical Film Orchestra, which has been specially assembled for the Harry Potter concerts and primarily collaborates with state orchestras from Europe.
