The afterlife, and especially the horrors of hell, have always stirred the imagination.

With rich detail and a good dose of criticism of the conditions of his time, the politician and pope critic Dante Alighieri wrote his "Divina commedia" at the beginning of the 14th century in the then-popular vernacular language, making it fashionable.

400 years later, the graphic artist Gustave Doré created richly imaginative woodcuts that depict the place of suffering in intricate detail. From the visual images, the light artist Dietrich Burmeister designed a projection composition that turns the stage into a hellish space in black and white.

Ursula Pehlke from the Freie Bühne Wendland guides the audience through hell with a total of 13 different characters: for example, as a tearing harpy, a soul burning in fire, as a lecturer introducing Gustav Doré and his works in a lecture hall, as the waters of the river Styx, or as a baroque blasphemer.

She approaches the underworld with her distinctive body language and accompanies the wanderers through hell and also out.

Paul Potts, the talented tenor from Wales, is realizing his dream. After being bullied and mocked at school, he found solace in the local church choir. When he heard La Boheme at the age of 16, he fell in love with opera and began a passionate romance that led him on a turbulent journey. He eventually won the first season of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007, forever changing his life.

That same year, Paul Potts released his multi-platinum debut album "One Chance," which topped the charts in 13 countries. He appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," brought Times Square to a standstill, and announced a worldwide arena tour. His fame stretches from Seoul to New York and from Sydney to Hamburg.

Paul's inspiring story was also told in the Hollywood film "One Chance," starring James Corden. But that was not the end of his story. Paul Potts has since been continuously touring, having completed over 1,000 performances in 45 countries. In addition to "One Chance," he has released six more studio albums, including "Passione" (2009), "Cinema Paradiso" (2010), and "Home" (2014), as well as a Greatest Hits collection (2013). In 2017, he released his fifth studio album "On Stage" to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his historic victory, followed by "Winter Dreams" (2019). Paul Potts' album "Musica Non Proibita" is a double album with arias recorded during his "At Home" sessions during the lockdown. He also participated in "America’s Got Talent: The Champions," where he triumphed in the grand finale against other winners from around the world.

Despite the turbulent recent years in the touring industry, Paul Potts has managed to perform in South Korea, Japan, Scandinavia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Wales. He also spent many months in the recording studio. In April 2022, he performed as the "Koala" in the German version of "The Masked Singer," thrilling the audience with classics from A-Ha, Toto, Elton John, and Dua Lipa.

Since the successful film adaptation by Walt Disney, Sir Rudyard Kipling's
Jungle Book has been an essential part of any child's room. In its fantastic version,
the theater Lichtermeer tells the adventurous story of little Mowgli, who was raised
by wolves in the Indian jungle as a human child. When the tiger Shere Khan returns
to the jungle, Mowgli becomes a danger to the entire wolf pack and is to be taken
back to his own kind, to the village of humans. An exciting journey through
the jungle begins, and Mowgli encounters all the lovable, dangerous, treacherous,
eccentric inhabitants of the jungle: Baloo, the bear, Bagheera, the panther, Kaa,
the snake, the forgetful monkey gang, and of course Shere Khan.
Join the musical ensemble of the theater Lichtermeer on an adventurous journey,

Often it is the unknown that frightens us; and because many things are unknown and new to children, fears are constant companions in their exploration and discovery of the world. "Those who are not afraid cannot be brave," writes Linde von Keyserlingk. Based on her book, Lutz Großmann unpacks his fear cabinet and opens three mysterious drawers, in which he keeps different fears hidden:

Where the dark night comes from A brave penguin boldly confronts the fear of falling asleep, telling where the night comes from and why it is good that it exists.
The Three on the Gutter Are these ghosts that always want to whisper to you that you are not up to the tasks at hand.
Bear-Deer and Deer-Bear Tells of the fear that children may no longer be loved by their parents, simply because they no longer understand each other as they once did.

In 2025, Maestro Giora Feidman continues to engage powerfully and empathetically for a world without weapons and borders. The internationally renowned clarinetist and peace ambassador appeals on his current tour "Revolution of Love" for peaceful coexistence as well as for more love and harmony. The audience will experience a fireworks display of traditional klezmer music, as well as masterpieces of tango music and selected compositions from his current CDs, composed by Majid Montazer, in a concert program lasting about two hours. In this unforgettable concert, the musicians will take the audience on a journey into the world of sacred and secular music.

This program continues Giora Feidman's artistic work and goes far beyond the musical dimension. With "Revolution of Love," Feidman aims to spread not only notes but also the transformative message of love. This revolution is meant to emotionally touch the listeners and initiate a journey full of hope and connectedness. Giora Feidman and his various ensembles, who will accompany him during the tour, look forward to these unique concerts and are firmly convinced that music is a powerful force that unites people and can bring about change – a true "Revolution of Love" through music.

Giora Feidman, the recipient of several Classical Echos, uses his clarinet to communicate through music and share his message. His sound is changeable, passionate, and emotional, but also sensual and grounded. The "King of Klezmer" and interpreter of the Oscar-winning film score of Steven Spielberg's "Schindler's List" offers his listeners an extraordinary experience at his concerts. He has also been heard in the German films "Beyond Silence" by Caroline Link and "Comedian Harmonists" (1997) by Joseph Vilsmaier.

For his commitment to peace and his contributions to reconciliation between nations, Feidman has already been honored. He received the International Bridge Prize for his contribution to international understanding in Europe and the Great Federal Cross of Merit for his efforts towards reconciliation between Jews and Germans.
