Not only for children, a unique artwork has been created at the Museum Gelnhausen: The walk-in ear takes visitors on a small expedition into the interior of our bodies. Through a huge ear shell, children and the young at heart can crawl through the ear canal - or enter comfortably through a door - and explore the middle ear. This makes it easy to imagine how Philipp Reis, over 150 years ago, came up with the idea of ​​building a device that transmits the human voice over long distances with his small wooden ear model.

A tour for singles who want to meet new people in a special way.

Parship, Tinder, and others – many people find their partners there today. But how was it in the Middle Ages? How did people meet back then and what were the criteria for choosing a life partner? What does it look like in other cultures? And what do the sights of Gelnhausen have to do with the single life and getting to know each other stories?!

We can already promise this much: During the 1.5-hour tour through the old town, you will not only get to know Gelnhausen but also the other participants well. The entertaining, interactive tour ends in a Gelnhausen pub where a few drinks await you. Here you can linger, eat, drink, and get to know each other even better at your leisure!

Because every "Grobbe" eventually finds their "Deggel," maybe even during a city tour in Gelnhausen!

Depending on the number of ticket purchases, we will divide you into two groups: one group with people over 35 years old and one under 40 years old. The ages intentionally overlap – all 35-40-year-olds can choose which group they want to be in when selecting tickets.
