»Only the joyful, the innocent, and the heartless can fly.«

The story of Peter and Wendy is likely familiar to most: A boy who refuses to grow up persuades a girl on the brink of adulthood to fly with him to the eerie yet beautiful Neverland. Together with the Lost Boys, they experience numerous adventures there – foremost the battle against Peter's arch-nemesis Captain Hook, whom Peter ultimately defeats. In the end, however, Wendy returns to the real world and her family, while Peter remains in a state of eternal childhood.

Yet behind the well-known story lies far more than a classic good-versus-evil fairy tale. Upon closer examination, it becomes clear that life in Neverland is far less idyllic than many adaptations suggest.

Director Laurent Gröflin approaches the famous work of J. M. Barrie from a new perspective: Is it really a loss to grow up? Or is there rather a challenge in it? And who is Peter Pan really – a shining hero or rather the opposite?

The caravan moves on. But the question is, where to? It is quite astonishing how suddenly one can feel left behind, just because it is unclear who is actually losing their mind faster: the world or humanity?

One no longer orders food from the waiter, but at a terminal. Partnerships are no longer formed, but swiped. The car drives the driver, and not the other way around. Fake and fact make a dubious pact. And in the end, idiots and charlatans rule in all corners of the world.

And when one has just reached the age at which they could tell children stories, they realize that the kids prefer to entertain themselves with their phones. Until they themselves reach that age and then notice that one cannot eat an app.

But HG. Butzko can neither be pushed onto the sidelines nor be satisfied with morsels of grace. So no thoughts of retirement or resignation, but rather stepping out of echo chambers and filter bubbles and into the vibrant reality without safety nets or double grounds. “Das wolln wir doch mal sehn” – that is cabaret, satire, plain speech, with human rather than artificial intelligence.

For the second time, the globe-trotting couple Waltraud Mose-Schwarz and Heinz Schwarz presents a multi-vision at JTF about their travels. This time, on Thursday, October 15th at 7 PM, they will discuss their motorhome journey through Canada and Alaska.

Waltraud Mose-Schwarz and Heinz Schwarz were once again on the road with their motorhome. This resulted in a multi-vision about the first part of the grand journey on the American continent titled “Mit dem eigenen Wohnmobil durch die Weiten Kanadas und Alaskas”.

The two motorhome travelers take the audience not only to the great cities in eastern Canada, such as Montreal and Toronto, but also showcase the Canadian Rocky Mountains and journey all the way above the Arctic Circle to the Arctic Ocean.

From Alaska, there are images of the flight to Denali, the highest mountain in North America. Of course, bears catching salmon and the fascinating, ice-covered volcanoes cannot be missed.

During boat trips, they observe gray whales and orcas up close. After visiting Vancouver Island, the journey culminated in a grand finale in Vancouver.

The castle with a lot to offer: "HerrschaftsZeiten! Erlebnis Cadolzburg" from June 24, 2017 at the Cadolzburg - the new highlight of the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region

A powerful castle - the setting of the illustrious history of a ruling family that has achieved great success: this was and is the Cadolzburg. The rulers were the Hohenzollern family, who ruled over Franken and later Brandenburg, also gaining electoral dignity in the 15th century. Later on, they even became Prussian kings and German emperors.

The Cadolzburg derives its radiance not only from its role as the starting point of a significant career in the Holy Roman Empire - the impressive structure itself reflects this golden era of the Hohenzollerns. The new museum "HerrschaftsZeiten! Erlebnis Cadolzburg" of the Bavarian Administration of State Castles will make this time - the late Middle Ages - exciting and informative for visitors through innovative communication concepts. While walking through the castle, visitors can learn not only about the architectural history, wars and peace, daily life, and governing tasks of the princely castle residents. There is much to discover here through interactive and sensory means:

Visitors can experience the castle through their sense of smell, there are tactile stations, sounds and dialogues, vivid models, and invitations to try things out. Exciting or challenging games, medieval Hohenzollerns in their own words, and the jester Contz who guides visitors through the castle bring the Middle Ages to life. Visitors can also expect to see several original medieval artifacts such as swords, maces, or a magnificent treasure chest. Other objects were specially crafted for the museum based on extensive research in historical techniques, such as the gilded armor of the famous General Albrecht Achilles, or textiles dyed according to original recipes. The Bavarian Administration of State Castles also made significant contributions to experimental historical research, like creating a breastplate from boiled leather, in line with the ambition of creating one of Germany's most important castle museums.

The cultural communication of the Bavarian Administration of State Castles also offers a diverse program of accompanying events, making this exciting history even more intriguing - for the young nobleman as well as the castle enthusiast.

Not only the Middle Ages but also the Cadolzburg itself now comes back to life. After the extensive damage of World War II, original medieval rooms and successful architectural creations of the 21st century can now be experienced. The modern buildings completed in 2017 bridge the medieval era with our present time.

You can expect very special experiences here - it truly is THE CASTLE WITH A LOT TO OFFER.

Dan Peter Sundland's Idea of a Good Time: Cheerful groovy Free Jazz with three outstanding saxophonists and an explosive rhythm section.

It is neither a visit to the golf club nor a Caribbean cruise. No skiing holiday in the Alps and also not the best seats at the water polo final. No, Dan Peter Sundland's Idea of a Good Time is an ecstatic interplay of three strong, individual saxophonists, each with their specific expressive styles, over Sundland's colorful compositions and accompanied by the inventive groove tendencies of a rhythm section that redefines the genre.
The saxophones are masterfully played by:
Chris Pitsiokos, known for his collaborations with all the big names in the New York scene, and furthermore as a great bandleader and composer.
Camila Nebbia is a meteorically rising star in the improvisation and free jazz scene. She has performed with luminaries such as Michael Formanek, Angelica Sanchez, Tom Rainey, Susana Santos Silva. A powerful voice that should not be taken lightly.
Johannes Schleiermacher, known from projects like Training and Shake Stew, adds a third color to the mix with an expressive tenor voice and bridges the connection to the rhythm section with groovy baritone lines. All of this is powered by this creative rhythm section:
Dan Peter Sundland contributes his distinctive approach on the electric bass and provides the group with his varied compositions. His idiosyncratic voice lends itself to collaborations with personalities like Jim Black, Frank Gratkowski, Liz Kosack, and Chris Pitsiokos.
Moritz Baumgärtner is a well-known figure of the European jazz scene, with long-standing projects like Melt Trio and TAU driven by his inventive sound colors and all-hearing ears.

The cabaret artist, cultural award winner of the city of Würzburg, and recipient of the special prize of the German Cabaret Award, Birgit Süß, presents her new program "Die kleinen Dinge" on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 8 PM in the JTF, a musical cabaret event with Klaus Ratzek on tuba and double bass.

After the wonderful success of "Das Graue vom Himmel," Birgit Süß now presents her new musical cabaret on stages around the world: "Die kleinen Dinge" – a program that tells grand stories about the small moments in life: a fast-paced, touching, and hilarious parcours through true absurdities and absurd truths in search of mindful existence between Ayurveda retreat and pharmacy magazine - feminine, cheeky, and fearless.
While everyone else is still conquering the world and fighting for the best lounger by the pool, Birgit Süß has long secured the most beautiful spot in the peace forest.
And there’s the most wonderful repertoire - about minimalists, or about allotment gardens - musically brilliantly accompanied by Klaus Ratzek (tuba & double bass).

"Die kleinen Dinge" a musically cabaret evening full of joy of life, depth, and quirky everyday poetry. A program for all who know: Life doesn’t always have to be grand to be magnificent.
