From old to new! The Hamburg band Goldmeister (Chris Dunker and Philipp Ohleyer) have been doing this since 2018. Goldmeister mixes the swing of the Roaring Twenties à la Gatsby with modern German hip-hop. The result feels as if Goldmeister has found an elixir that has been on hand for at least twenty years, but no one dared to grab it. For like magic, the songs from the pen of Peter Fox, Fanta 4, Fettes Brot, Jan Delay, and others blend with cheerful outbursts of brass, banjo, and piano into an organic yet virulent future mix of a higher kind. In the 21st-century twenties, it is essential to formulate the party sound of the future for dancing on the volcano. Goldmeister has found this sound.
With their two albums "Alles Gold" and "Willkommen in den Zwanzigern!", Goldmeister has already appeared on various TV shows, including "Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel," "My hit, your song" on ProSieben, with Andrea Kiewel in the ZDF Fernsehgarten, in the ZDF Morgenmagazin, and at the RBB Elblandfestspiele. They thrilled visitors at the Brandenburg Gate during the World Cup fan mile just as much as at the same location during the ZDF New Year's Eve gala and have also been present at large events in Vienna and Switzerland. At many major cultural and jazz festivals, Goldmeister has taken the stage and recently welcomed Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Federal Press Ball with great honor.

Briefly described: since 1994, nearly 1800 concerts performed worldwide, 100 self-composed and written songs, six studio albums, releases in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, England, and the USA with top chart positions and gold and platinum status. Live tours through Europe and several states in the USA, including within the show "Stars On Ice" with Katarina Witt. In Germany, we supported the tours of Whitney Houston and Roxette, successfully and with great pleasure.
We play songs from all of our albums, including some hits that you know and love from the radio but don’t necessarily associate with BELL BOOK + CANDLE. This often leads to disbelief and surprise from the audience. Of course, we also play favorite cover songs, some of which have a familial background, as well as songs from the German-language album "WIE WIR SIND" released in 2018.

In 2003, four close friends who are folk musicians came together to form CARA (Gaelic: friend), and to this day, friendship plays a central role in the band alongside their shared love for traditional music of Ireland and Scotland. The songs alternate with fast-paced instrumental pieces that thrive on the virtuosic interplay of fiddle and Uilleann pipes. The Irish bagpipe, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage in 2017, is played by Simon Pfisterer, who studied this extraordinary instrument at the University of Limerick.
