Look forward to an upbeat and simultaneously meditative and bluesy evening with a good dose of Boogie Woogie! With their new program "Blues meets Gospel," the trio Boogielicious, featuring Eeco Rijken Rapp (piano and vocals), David Herzel (drums and percussion), and Bertram Becher (harmonica), dedicates this time to the gospels and spirituals and their musical roots.
The further program of Boogielicious is extremely varied and ranges from classic Boogie Woogie, gospels, Latin, jive, earthy blues to rock 'n roll, New Orleans, and old-time jazz - from Scott Joplin, through Fats Waller, Oscar Peterson, to Ray Charles. A thrilling and entertaining evening awaits you that takes you through the beginnings of the history of blues, jazz, and swing. In short: feel-good music and lots of joy in playing! The smallest big band in the world!
Boogielicious consists of: Eeco Rijken Rapp (Jazz and Blues Award winner from the Netherlands) on piano and vocals, David Herzel (Creative Award winner Germany, Reverbnation No. 1) on drums and percussion, and in trio with Bertram Becher on harmonica, product manager of the oldest harmonica factory in the world (C.A. Seydel).
