"Whenever you find that you are on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect." (Mark Twain). But reflection is not on the agenda. We lack the time for pause and contemplation, because in at most 10 years, according to experts’ predictions, we will have reached the "point of no return" and then the Earth will be uninhabitable. Panic is the appropriate reaction. One feels better, therefore, among the thoughtless majority. The majority opinion determines the course of political developments in democracies. However, with declining voter turnout, a minority can outvote the majority. This is normal and happens repeatedly.

In his new program, Bruno Jonas chooses the form of a speech. He is mentally guided by Ambrose Bierce, who said: The art of rhetoric is the conspiracy of language and action to circumvent the mind. The offer to let one’s brain be fogged is plentiful. Who pays attention to language manipulative strategies when they are entertaining? Kant mistakenly believed that man had to free himself from his self-imposed immaturity. Today we are in a phase where man voluntarily sets forth into immaturity because it is more convenient and brings more fun.

Bruno Jonas has been engaged by the "Society for the Rescue of the World," which is hosting a gala evening this time in the "Hegel Hall" of the MS Deutschland on the high seas. Before the "Noodle Entrance," illusionists perform. Jonas is up after the main course. Thematically, everything is allowed. After dessert, there is a flood for everyone. The evening ends with a collective drowning. This can only be cheerful!

London, 1888. You are a spectator at the judicial inquiry into the Ripper murders. The mysterious Alexandrina Kent accuses Inspector Abberline of being the murderer. You accompany Mrs. Kent as she presents her evidence in the scandalous show of the magical Houdinus, in the terrible asylum of Dr. Hydy, and on an eerie graveyard where grave robbers are at work. Can the Ripper actually be unmasked tonight? Or will the truth never come to light?
In this horror comedy, you are right in the middle of the action; the audience is part of the plot. Of course, you can also follow the events purely from the audience's perspective. During the scenes, the Kitchen Monsters will serve you a delicious 4-course meal. A thrilling blend of dinner and theater. Also suitable for those with a weak stomach.

The "Baroque Sensuality" performs in various projects with differing, sometimes quite unusual formations, interpreting vocal chamber music from the Baroque period at the highest level. It is always renowned musicians who make the Baroque joy of life immediately palpable for the audience and transform the captivating music into an experience. With wit, joy of play, and attention to detail, the ensemble brings to life the nature images often sung in numerous metaphors in European Baroque music, making the music visible for the audience as they listen. In recent years, various concert projects of the ensemble have been awarded funding by the Association of Musicians in Bavaria and the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. In the present program, the ensemble bridges the work of G.F. Handel, who set the natural observations of Hamburg senator and writer Berthold Heinrich Brockes to music, to the neighboring country of Italy. There, the song of the nightingale and singing birds is often the subject of Baroque songs and arias that particularly highlight and make the beauty of nature, celebrated in the Nine German Arias by G.F. Handel, tangible. Even very young concertgoers or people with little connection to classical music feel directly addressed by this music.

A celebration with drums and trumpets is held by the Balthasar-Neumann-Akademie and the Balthasar-Neumann-Orchester in the impressive basilica of their namesake. At the highest level, the young musicians and professionals from across Europe will present a program featuring works by contemporaries of the significant baroque master builder. The concert will not be conducted by “just” a conductor, but – as was customary at the time the works were created – from among the ranks of the orchestra: by the internationally renowned musicians Andrea Rognoni (violin) and Moritz Görg (trumpet).

In addition to Bach's famous Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, two specifically compiled pasticci by Moritz Görg from instrumental passages of Telemann will be presented for this occasion: a festive introduction, whose grand finale comprises the concerto for 3 trumpets and drums (TWV 54:D3), and a contrasting pasticcio combining, among other things, the trumpet concerto in D major (TWV 51:D7) with excerpts from the overture in D major (TWV 55:D18). In the spirit of the artistic overall concept pursued by Johann Balthasar Neumann, architecture and music merge in this concert into a magnificent unity.

Nikita Miller is convinced: If that guy had lived a little longer, he definitely wouldn't have said that. When Nikita came to Germany from Ukraine with his parents at the age of five, he had to realize over the years: a person may be able to leave the Soviet Union, but the Soviet Union never leaves the person. No wonder Nikita's grandpa, after years of rigorous copying from the Duden dictionary, still doesn't speak a word of German today. The expectations of the West were great, the possibilities seemed endless. But Nikita Miller has understood: Sitting between two cultures is terribly exhausting. The family pulls on one side, the new life on the other. So he diligently tinkered in his thought lab, mixed things together here and there, took something out from one place and sprinkled a bit of glitter over it. He has mixed the best of German and Soviet, and learned to love and appreciate both cultures with all their beauty and diversity, with all their quirks and inconveniences. Because we all have to admit at some point: the cultures are not so different after all. Pelmeni are just small dumplings.
