Join us as we descend into the wine cellar of the Vier Jahreszeiten Winzer eG and experience over 120 years of wine history in the heart of Bad Dürkheim. In the cellar, we will show you the different steps of wine production, from grape reception through fermentation to barrel aging. At various stations, we will taste a total of 5 wines. You will also get to touch, smell, and try some of them yourself. Our former experienced cellar master will guide you through the premises and share anecdotes from working in the cellar and secrets of the old walls.
During the tour, you will also see the smallest wine barrel in Bad Dürkheim, from which the first pour is traditionally tapped each year at the Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt, as well as the largest stainless steel tank in the Pfalz with a capacity of 196,000 liters.
Every year, a variety of noble drops are created in our cellars. The selection includes not only the well-known Pfälzer classics such as Riesling, Grauer and Spätburgunder. International trendy grape varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, or Tempranillo as well as future varieties Souvignier Gris and Muscaris can also be found with us. About the play: Moses grows up alone, as his father is at work all day and his mother left the family shortly after Moses was born. In the run-down neighborhood, Moses turns to prostitutes in search of love and recognition. To pay for these, he dips into the meager household money. To prevent his father from noticing anything, Moses steals canned goods from Monsieur Ibrahim's store, believing that he doesn't notice. But he has long seen through the Jewish boy and treats him kindly and with respect, even though he knows that he is being stolen from. This story is full of wit and charm and tells of sorrow, loss, death, love, growing up, and tolerance.

Bad Dürkheim has been a mineral healing spa for over 100 years and a salt bath for even longer, thanks to the brine springs that have been used for a long time. The "White Gold" of Bad Dürkheim attracted the Celts 2,500 years ago. For centuries, salt was produced in the saltworks, consuming huge amounts of wood. Until the 18th century, when the monumental graduation towers brought about a revolution in salt production: Buildings up to 750 m long graduated the brine. It wasn't long before these treasures spread the word, and Bad Dürkheim welcomed guests from all over the world who strolled through the newly designed spa park. Today, the spa park, with its eleven bridges and water features, is more beautiful than ever and the ideal place to dive into the glamorous old times with the tour guide. During the visit to the Dürkheim graduation tower, you will learn about its tumultuous and dramatic history, from an industrial building to one of the largest outdoor inhalatoriums in Germany, overshadowed by two fire disasters.
