"Advent, Advent, and everyone is running"
Every year we look forward to the Christ Child!
But as soon as the pre-Christmas season begins, the heavenly peace is over. Candles are lit, wreaths are hung up.
Advent is when the woman cleans out the basement and decorates the house. As a man, you want to iron laundry once a year, but all the outlets are taken up by Christmas lights.
In the city centers, one struggles through the crowds in search of gifts. By December 23rd, we are exhausted and realize, "Finally, I have my gifts together, now I just need to get ones for others!"
It's best to switch to "Swabian giving" right away. Stop buying, instead accept packages for the neighbors throughout Advent!
And when you think of the family...back then, people ate whatever was on the table. Today, the son is a vegetarian, his girlfriend is vegan, the daughter has a pronounced aversion to overalls, and the wife is already putting milk in the sugar.
Christmas is supposed to be the festival of love, but can we really say that when the wife bakes mountains of "Bredle" (Christmas pastries), then hides them so the husband won't eat them all before Christmas? On Christmas Eve, you have to go on a "Bredle" search. Christmas feels more like Easter that way.
However, we shouldn't forget the important questions that arise during Advent, such as:
1. Can the three wise men be rated with stars as well?
2. Why do I rhyme mulled wine with "I can't go to work tomorrow"?
3. Why do 9 out of 10 geese recommend roast beef as the festive meal?
And most importantly, at the end of the year, it's important to reconcile with your partner: "Honey, if I have hurt, annoyed, or disappointed you in the past year, let me tell you: there must have been a reason for that."
Heinrich Del Core, born during the Christmas season, with an Italian father and a Swabian mother, is destined to have a mix-up. And if, like Heinrich Del Core, you also have your birthday on December 6th and your father doesn't appreciate St. Nicholas, then have a Merry Christmas.
The award-winning cabaret artist and comedian impresses with his very entertaining and punchy Christmas program, creating a unique connection and closeness with the audience, who will find themselves laughing along with his hilariously told stories time and time again......
Heinrich Del Core, born the son of an Italian guest worker in Rottweil, decided after completing his secondary education to initially pursue a dental technician apprenticeship.
It wasn't until 1995 that he began delving into comedy magic. Comedy magic turned into stand-up comedy and cabaret. He finished his dental technician career in 2000 and has since been successful as a comedian and cabaret artist on Germany's stages, as well as a guest on numerous TV shows.
