Tanzstück Nummer 11
After last year's grand anniversary production, the 11th Tanzstück will be brought to the stage by eleven dancers. Some of them have been involved from the very beginning, while others joined last year.
Each one of them will dance in focus in one of the eleven scenes. For this, they will examine their personal relationship with dance together with the choreographic team Christine Grunert and Olaf Herzog.
In their engagement with individual dance preferences, desires, experiences, and aversions, undiscovered movement possibilities and their boundaries will be explored, forming the basis for a solo, duet, trio, or a dance scene with other dancers.
Short poems, “Elfchen,” serve as inspiration in this production – as a poetic bridge – between body and mind. They find expression in the individual movements of the dancers and will frame some of the scenes. The poetic impulses enrich, accompany, and support the creative process in their own unique way.
