Innere Sicherheit - Ein Dokumentartheaterstück zum Themenkomplex NSU 2.0
It is August 2, 2018, around noon. In the 1st Frankfurt police station, a person sits down at a computer in the duty room, opens one of the police information systems, and types a name into the search field. 90 minutes later, a threatening letter arrives at a Frankfurt lawyer's office, signed with the words “NSU 2.0”. It will be the first of many threatening letters directed at politicians, jurists, journalists, and artists—many of whom are women or perceived as migrants. What inner insecurities do these inhuman words provoke? Will words be followed by actions? Is this an attack on democracy? With the help of trial transcripts and interviews with those affected and experts, the team around Marie Schwesinger (“Werwolfkommandos”) gathers facts, questions, connections, and loose ends surrounding the topic of NSU 2.0. Where are we safe when the threat comes from within the system?
Afterwards, there will be a public discussion with director and author Marie Schwesinger and dramaturg Jenny Flügge. The discussion will be moderated by Nicole Schneiderbauer from the Augsburg State Theatre.
