Flotter Dreier - Wolfgang Stumph - Wolfgang Schaller - Rainer Schulze
In January 1987, Wolfgang Stumph, Wolfgang Schaller, and Rainer Schulze appeared for the first time - without Western money, but in the front row with Dieter Hildebrandt, Gerhardt Polt, and Werner Schneyder - on a stage on the other side of the wall. From there, they toured all the small art stages in Zurich, Basel, West Berlin, at the GDR embassies in Bonn and Budapest, on the cabaret stages of Herkuleskeule, Distel, and Pfeffermühle, adorned with awards and followed by Bavarian, WDR, and GDR television cameras. When Wolfgang Stumph shouted "Go, Trabi Go," and embarked on his unprecedented television career, Schaller with his texts and Schulze with his songs at the piano became synonymous with East German cabaret during their guest performances across the new Germany, embodying a mix of loud fun and quiet contemplation. And Wolfgang Stumph became one of the most distinguished actors in Germany.
Now they meet once more, reminiscing, singing, talking, playing, and proving how young and politically relevant they are as cabaret grandfathers.
We cordially invite you to this nostalgia guest performance!
