On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the Kulturhaus Schwanen in Waiblingen invites you again to the Salsa opening party with Cabello Negro. The event starts at 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 7 PM. After a strong kickoff last year, the Stuttgart band returns to the Schwanen hall – with a large ensemble, powerful brass sound, and an evening that effortlessly combines concert and dance fest.
Salsa without compromises – live, loud, and with history
Cabello Negro stands for handmade Salsa with force, warmth, and joy of playing. The distinctive brass section, the driving rhythm group, and the band’s voices bring the sound of New York Salsa from the 70s into the present – earthy, direct, and full of movement. Already during the last guest performance, it became clear how well this mix of live music, dance enthusiasm, and open atmosphere fits in the Schwanen. The Salsa opening party 2026 now builds on this.
The songs contain stories of love, pride, failure, and solidarity; on stage, they become pieces that are not only to be heard but physically experienced. Those who dance quickly find their way in. Those who prefer to listen experience a powerful live set with character. This is precisely what makes the charm of this evening: it is open to seasoned Salseras and Salseros as well as to people who simply want to engage in an energetic concert evening with movement.
Thus, the Schwanen hall becomes a meeting point for music, rhythm, and a night that briefly disrupts everyday life right in the middle of the week. The Salsa opening party thus relies again on a format that closely combines concert, dance floor, and late summer energy.

Mikroklub (live act)
The duo "mikroklub" presents a live act characterized by undulating LoFi basslines and substantial synth surfaces. Heavy and mellow, electrifying and driving. The two met in the former formation FORCODER, in which they played together for the last five years. After the band's dissolution, new sound structures emerged in occasional sessions, which the two held onto and continued to refine. Together with the inspiration from their favorite artists, they create what they like and weave everything into an electrifying live act.

Zoppoli
is a collective. In various formations, the disco set is created live on stage. In the moment, situationally. Always different, but great. Once the beat is started, the machine runs through in one go. They play what is needed for the dance. No DJ set today, but everything live.

Interactive a cappella piece suitable for children aged 4 - 10 years

The five jungle animals Samantha the Panther, Rosa the Flamingo, Rhina the Rhinoceros, Squirri the Squirrel, and Funky Monkey the Monkey come together to celebrate their friendship and their connection to their mother nature. Although Samantha is a dangerous predator, she is peaceful on this special day and purrs "Putz die Katze" with retracted claws. Funky Monkey drums against the others and lets the beat come from the box. Rosa would love to only dance salsa and immediately practices a festive choreography while Squirri searches for the best treats for the party under all the leaves and in every burrow and treetop. Only Rhino the Rhinoceros is feeling gloomy and too sad and colorless to honor mother nature by singing and dancing. But of course, the "Pady am Stady," because the others don't leave her behind and donate pink feathers, colorful flowers, and a worthy festive hairstyle because celebrating is best done together.

Jungle Party is the brand new interactive children's play by the five vocal artists of the women's a cappella band Beat Poetry Club for children aged 4 to 10 years. With animalistic songs, animal beats from the jungle box, and funky choreographies, the wonderfully crazy jungle inhabitants encourage their young audience to dance, sing along, and beatbox.
