In the last program, the ladies joyfully celebrated their 25th anniversary. There is no end in sight for the next 100 years! So - Weiter geht’s
Just the beginning. The ladies rush onto the stage, a chaotic scene overflowing with fun and contagious good cheer. Experience teaches: as soon as the first song has faded, the stage and the hall shake in competition.
And they can sing, of course! Sometimes surprisingly soft like angels, then unexpectedly raunchy, yet they manage to produce heart-opening magical chords. In addition, a variety of expressive solo voices converse with the entire choir.
The Damenlikörchor takes its audience on an evening full of song and sound, cheerfulness and drama. The crisis-tested ladies have something to say on all topics that are close to women. On world-changing and everyday issues, on big and small ones, which become bigger and bigger when you take a closer look.
There will also be dancing! There is plenty of talent; all choreographies are, of course, perfectly synchronized, just sometimes, in the manner of ladies, not at the same time.
In harmonious color variety, the women from Hamburg of all ages and sizes have naturally dressed up splendidly. The dresses, hairstyles, and décolletés of the singers set the tone to the music - surprising costume changes are not excluded.
They show the audience and the rest of the world what it sounds like when women’s power, irresistible eroticism, and determined steps celebrate life, love, and happiness.
All this is finely crafted, arranged, and conducted by the lady tamer Mathias Weibrich. Pianist Jörg Hochapfel takes on the virtuoso accompaniment. Two guys with rhythm and tuxedos – it doesn’t get much hotter.
And when you go home after the concert, you'll be easily recognized by your broad smile.
