Angela Ascher - Verdammt, ich lieb´ mich
That there are worlds between self-love and narcissism, and that self-love has many different faces, is well known. The roles of time, money, friendships, humor, empathy, emancipation, love, honesty, etc., are discussed by Angela Ascher in her first stage program "Verdammt, ich lieb' mich." with brutal honesty towards herself and her audience.
In "Verdammt, ich lieb' mich." the genuine Bavarian showcases her comedic talent and love for the stage in expressive and passionate stand-up sequences, convincing with charming comedy in all its facets: clichés are played with, broken, exaggerated, finely observed, and dissected with a lot of humor. Confidently and with irony, Angela categorizes topics in her own unique way and does not shy away from dishing out hard truths every now and then. For Angela Ascher does not hold back, even on rather spicy topics such as sex toys in the wrong hands, mental freshness techniques for very long love relationships, idealizing one's own sex life in front of friends, and the question of whether one should not rather sleep with oneself to never fall below one's level.
"Verdammt, ich lieb' mich." is a first-class comedy program with punchy punchlines and loving sarcasm.
