CARNIVAL OF CHAOS VOL. II - SIGNS OF WEAR + tba + tba
While Düsseldorf gets lost in a rain of confetti, on Sunday, February 7th, the Pitcher opens its doors for the 2nd time for all those who seek something different from Carnival and instead want to experience real, handmade music.
Signs of Wear, along with 2 more metal bands, will bring a diverse mix of metal to the stage that will make the hearts of non-carnival-goers beat faster.
No Helau, no Alaaf, no costume, no Carnival. Just honest noise and cold beer.
But that's not all: Alongside the powerful dose of live sound, a small, thematic surprise program awaits you, perfectly fitting the anti-Carnival mood.
Those who prefer to headbang rather than shout Helau know where they need to be on Sunday before Rosenmontag.
– See you at the Pitcher.
Doors open: 3 PM / Start: 4 PM

CARNIVAL OF CHAOS
Signs Of Wear + … + …
SIGNS OF WEAR
"Signs of Wear" – the name says it all. The band stands for music that leaves marks. Real, raw, emotional sounds that reflect life, with all its cracks, scars, and beauties. "Signs of Wear" does not mean decay – it means history, experience, and authenticity. And that’s exactly what the music conveys.
Musically, the band moves in metal without letting themselves be confined to narrow boxes. Sometimes brutal and angry, sometimes melodic and contemplative – their songs are diverse and thrive on contrast. The influences range from modern groove elements to classic heavy riffs and atmospheric moments that allow room for depth. Each song tells a story – honest, unfiltered, and close to life.
The classic lineup – guitar & vocals, lead guitar, bass, and drums – gives the band its solid foundation. But what they make of it is far more than standard: complex arrangements meet catchy melodies, raw energy meets emotional depth.
Despite their musical intensity, "Signs of Wear" remains relatable. The band is not an aloof artistic figure, but a grounded unit of people who live what they do with passion and conviction. Authenticity stands above all for them – on stage as well as off.
"Signs of Wear" – these are signs of life. Shaped by the journey, but never broken. Metallic. Human. Real.
