Brauer sucht Frau
Brauer sucht Frau
“Here we have leaned on a well-known television format for advertising reasons. To be honest, we only watched the show on the private channel with three letters for research purposes. In Brauer sucht Frau, we improvise the life, suffering, and love of lonely brewers and slip into the roles of our society. Regardless of whether they would be more likely found on ARTE or RTL. Everything human is our template to be brought to the stage. Because all people share the desire for love and beer.”
About the Ensemble Ernst von Leben
The Ensemble Ernst von Leben is a coalition of freelance actors, musicians, and performance artists Johanna Waldhoff, Thomas Paulmann, Felix Forsbach, Nicole Heinemann, Dominik Tremel, and Florian Berndt. It is dedicated to the novel engagement with improvisational theater. Their specialty is designed long formats that serve their own genres: ancient dramas, baroque carnival plays, criminal cases, or children's theater, soap operas, or TV shows. The Ensemble Ernst von Leben provides an abstract framework and improvises a lively theater program according to the audience's prompts, which markedly distinguishes itself from classical improvisational theater. Spontaneously invented scenes and scenarios bring forth conflicts, characters, and contexts that weave a story with a red thread. Nevertheless, the events revolve around the irretrievable moment.
