"Hab ich euch das schon erzählt?" - Das Beste aus 15 Jahren und neue Katastrophen
When someone fails so grandiosely and comically in thoughts, words, and deeds as Waghubinger, he can only get up time and again, give himself a push, and sit down on the bar stool. Since planning for the future has never quite worked out for him, this time he looks back and a little to the side. The best stories, for which this fictional character is loved, are retold and interwoven with new anecdotes and attempts at explanation into a rollercoaster of emotions. Waghubinger thinks and speaks so close to reality that sometimes one believes to see it more clearly than in the theater of one's own world. The famous mirror he holds up this time is a rearview mirror that broke while parking, and whoever wants can see themselves, the world, or simply another Waghubinger in it. Philosophical grumbling and affectionate meanness. The Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz writes about him: “Light as a feather and polished. There are only a few cabaret artists who can match Waghubinger's art of formulation – and there are only very few colleagues whose polished texts float through the hall as lightly as a feather.” Stefan himself only says that he practices Austrian complaining and grumbling, but with German thoroughness.
Press reviews
“Light as a feather and polished. There are only a few cabaret artists who can match Waghubinger's art of formulation – and there are only very few colleagues whose polished texts float through the hall as lightly as a feather. Waghubinger's second solo is of enormous density…”
(Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz)
“Philosophy and humor of tax class 1. It is deeply sad and at the same time hilariously funny, banal and at the same time surprisingly witty, cynical and at the same time warm-hearted. Above all, it is one thing: damn good.”
(Böblinger Bote)
“Philosophy and humor of tax class 1. Almost imperceptibly, the studied theologian, as a melancholic-philosophical weirdo, weaves fine threads that run through the program in clever variations – until in the end all strands come together…”
