The science show.
For 23 years, the Physikanten have proven: Natural science can be this entertaining!
When they take the stage, physics becomes as funny as a comedy show, glamorous like an evening at the variety theater, or thrilling like a football final: Stable 200-liter barrels collapse with a tremendous bang, or a laser beam suddenly makes music and turns into a bass guitar.
"With us, enthusiasts learn more about physics in one performance than they could ever forget in their school days," says physicist Marcus Weber, head and founder of the Physikanten and Co., with a wink.
The concept is award-winning: The Physikanten have been honored with the medal of the German Physical Society (DPG), which has also been awarded to Ranga Yogeshwar.
The Physikanten and Co. perform at schools and universities, in variety theaters, at corporate events, conferences, trade fairs, and international science festivals – most recently at the "All Russia Science Festival" in front of 3,000 spectators in Moscow and at the "Abu Dhabi Science Festival" with 24 shows on the beach.
With their science shows, they have already thrilled around 1 million spectators. For television, the team builds impressive experiments, among others for "Galileo," "Frag doch mal die Maus," or "Wer weiß denn sowas XXL." The 20-member team comprises physicists, comedians, musicians, actors, and event technicians, forming an explosive mix: eye-catching and highly entertaining.
