Hammerfrauen - Das Baumarkt-Musical
Hammerfrauen
Das Baumarkt-Musical
Now the last biosphere reserve of the male gender is being conquered by women: In the musical "Hammerfrauen," it's "Ladies Night" at the hardware store!
Tiles are being laid and hammers are being used – and of course, there's plenty of champagne!
The more the sparkling wine flows, the more emotional the DIY projects become, the more life plans are questioned – and by the end of the night, nothing is the same as before.
With charm and wit and life stories that speak to all of our hearts, "Hammerfrauen" hits the nail on the head.
"Hammerfrauen": the musical fun about the eternal cycle of life – of building and tearing down and building and tearing down ...
A young couple just before their wedding: He is the typical hobby handyman – she hasn't told him that she hates DIY projects. Now he has ordered the wedding table at the hardware store and signed her up for "Ladies Night" – and the drama unfolds. Eccentric hardware store customers, a quirky sales duo, and three ladies with vastly different ambitions collide throughout the fast-paced and punchline-rich story.
Accompanied by music that simply lifts the mood.
"Hammerfrauen – Das Baumarkt-Musical" does not cater to the usual man-woman clichés, yet it is still closely connected to the eternal themes of our togetherness. From now on, there will be nailing and chitchatting, grilling and flirting, sipping and teasing.
"Hammerfrauen" was written by the author trio Robert Löhr (book), among others a crime scene author, Bavarian Television Award winner, and international bestseller author; Benedikt Eichhorn (music), who has won nearly all notable cabaret awards with the duo "Pigor & Eichhorn"; and Michael Frowin (lyrics), theater director, cabaret artist, and author for the Comic Opera, Friedrichstadtpalast, and the Luxembourg Philharmonic.
