Tanz Banz: A Tribute To The Sound Of The Glorious Disco Era
Join TANZ BANZ on Saturday, October 4 at 8:00 PM at the JTF Forchheim for a musical sound journey that will make everyone believe in the timeless magic of the disco era.
TANZ BANZ has made it their mission to revive the unmistakable sound and magic of the disco era of the late 70s and early 80s. With an exhilarating mix of classics from Chic, KC & The Sunshine Band, Diana Ross, Kool & The Gang, Sister Sledge, and Donna Summer, the six-member band takes the audience back to the time of disco balls, bell-bottoms, and unforgettable dance parties. The namesake is Ralf 'Banz' Heilmann, who lets his fingers dance delicately over the Moog synthesizer, while Thomas Puppich and Eva Knorr lead the audience through the evening with their powerful voices and charismatic stage presence. Geee Le Fonque provides the right groove with funky guitar riffs alongside the pulsating bass lines of Ollie A. Wonder and the driving beats of Sébastien Angrand, ensuring no foot stands still.
