Christmas Variety 2025 at CAPITOL Nordhorn: Magic, acrobatics, music, and culinary delights in a festive atmosphere.
Once again this year, the festively decorated CAPITOL Nordhorn transforms into a place of wonders, full of astonishing moments, contagious music, and breathtaking acrobatics. International artists from various disciplines bring sparkle and amazement to the stage – accompanied by an exquisite Christmas buffet that makes the evening a culinary experience as well. The program is hosted by Scottish magician and entertainer Braidon Morris, who ensures excellent entertainment with his unique humor and charming Denglisch.
Moderation & Magic – Braidon Morris
Braidon Morris is no stranger to European variety stages. With his astonishing tricks, British charm, and a wonderfully absurd mix of English and German, he guides the audience through the evening. As a multiple award-winning street magician, he brings not only magic but also a special lightness and spontaneity that make every show unique. His stories, improvisations, and pointed surprises make him the perfect host for an evening full of surprises.
Juggling – Toni Bauhofer
Toni Bauhofer playfully combines juggling, magic, and absurd humor into a captivating show that delights both young and old. What begins innocently quickly develops into a crazy journey through Toni's fantastical world, where the laws of physics seemingly no longer apply. Despite the high technical demands, Toni remains playful and audience-friendly. By the end, even he no longer knows what is reality and what is illusion – and that is exactly what makes his show so charming and unique.
Whip Show & Aerial Acrobatics – Rachel Belle Barum
Rachel Belle Barum represents a new generation of artistic stagecraft: powerful, elegant, and dangerously beautiful. Her impressive whip show is just one part of her repertoire – she also masters the high art of acrobatics. She gained fame through appearances on "Das Supertalent" and "Stars in der Manege," where she was celebrated along with professional dancer Massimo Sinató for her breathtaking aerial act. As the daughter of actress Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum and circus artist Pierre Bauer, she grew up in a world where expression, movement, and creativity are essential to life. You can feel these roots in every second of her performance – Rachel combines precision with charisma, leaving the audience breathless.
Hula-Hoop & Handstand Acrobatics – Marina Skulditskaya
Marina Skulditskaya embodies the highest art in equilibrium and hula-hoop artistry – two disciplines that she combines in a distinctive way. In her handstand act "Vision," she combines powerful acrobatics with graceful dance. Born in Ukraine, she was trained early on by her father – who was an acrobat in the Russian State Circus. In 1997, she won the Grand Prix at the International Festival in Veszprém, and since then she has been touring the world with her award-winning acts – from Japan to South Africa and the USA. In 2013, she was named "Artist of the Year" in the category of handstand equilibrium by a specialist magazine. Her performances are visual poems full of precision, elegance, and passion.
Singing – Eszter Végvári
The Hungarian singer Eszter Végvári adds a soulful and musical depth to the variety evening. Her voice is versatile, warm, and powerful – she does not just sing, she tells stories. Whether chanson, musical, or ballad – Eszter knows how to create an atmosphere with every note that lingers long after. She accompanies some program points live and also creates musical islands that touch and make the audience dream.
BMX Acrobatics – Daniel Fuhrmann
Fast-paced, spectacular, and absolutely unique: Daniel Fuhrmann is among the best BMX Flatland artists in Europe. With incredible body control and creative tricks, he shows what is possible on two wheels – thus pushing the boundaries of classical variety. His performance is a combination of sport, dance, and performance that leaves the audience in disbelief. In the smallest space, he moves at breathtaking speed, spins on the handlebars, jumps from a standstill – and brings his bike to life.
