FOOLHOUSE BLUES BAND
The Foolhouse Blues Band has been active since 1985 on many stages in Germany. 3 CD productions, nearly 1,000 live gigs - including concerts at many renowned blues festivals and in popular blues clubs - demonstrate the band's inexhaustible energy for their music - the blues.
Highlights during this time include performances with the original Blues Brothers, BB King, Luther Allison, Eric Burdon, and Climax Blues Band, among others.
The band consists of the veterans from the beginning: Hermann Rack / Drums & Vocals, Guido Helmling / Bass & Vocals, and Helmut Moser / Guitar.
The lead vocals are performed by blues singer Carmen Graf, who regularly enchants her audience with her multifaceted voice, youthful charm, and immense stage presence.
Since summer 2022, Adam Skowronek / Blues Harp, Guitar & Vocals has been part of the band. His virtuosic harp playing greatly enriches the band's sound diversity and underscores the band's special status in the German blues scene.
The band's unrestrained joy of playing instantly sparks energy during live performances, and humorous announcements and small "blues stories" create a relaxed atmosphere between songs.
The band knows how to celebrate the blues with their audience like hardly anyone else and shows that this genre has an endless variety that is anything but music just for old men or purist blues fans.
The band skillfully draws from all corners of the blues and mixes it into their own explosive and captivating cocktail, which rarely keeps the audience in their seats.
It swings, it grooves, it shuffles, it rocks, and it blues.
There are original pieces, many classics - some completely rearranged - and "Modern Blues" is also represented: Larkin Poe, John Mayer, Delta Saints, or My Babe send greetings.
HOT'N'NASTY
Hot’n’Nasty has existed since the early 90s and is part of the top league of the German blues and rock scene.
The lineup consists of founding member Malte Triebsch (Guitar), Robert Collins (Vocals), Dominique Ehlert (Drums), and Tim Gressler (Bass).
Hot’n’Nasty was awarded the German Blues Award in the category 'Best Band' in 2020 and was also a finalist in the German Blues Challenge in 2018 and 2019.
The current album Live Still Rollin’, released on July 1, 2025, was again produced by Martin Meinschäfer (sound technician and producer for Henrik Freischlader, Tommy Schneller, Kai Strauss, and Layla Zoe, among others).
The response from the trade press to Live Still Rollin’ was overwhelming, and Hot’n’Nasty was named one of the best German blues rock bands by various magazines.
“With their fiery ‘Live Still Rollin’, Hot’n’Nasty once again shows that they are among the best blues rock bands in the country,” wrote Hooked On Music.
Hot’n’Nasty also does not have to shy away from international comparison. Musicreviews reported on the band: “Hot’n’Nasty can easily measure up to the leading blues rockers from around the world.”
It is no wonder that internationally renowned rock giants such as Wishbone Ash, Dr. Feelgood, Walter Trout, Ana Popovic, and Chris Farlowe have taken notice of Hot’n’Nasty and shared the stage with them.
Numerous concerts in Germany and abroad as well as various TV specials have garnered the band a large fan base. In the Ruhr area, from which the musicians hail, the band already enjoys cult status.
Super musicians, the diverse program, and the stage show of Hot’n’Nasty make every concert a special event, both on large festival stages and in the blues clubs.
