What a start in 2016! “Die immer lacht” quickly made its way into the top 5 of all German and Austrian charts and filled playlists on all available streaming platforms for months. 1.2 million sold records and 200 million YOUTUBE clicks gave the remixed version of the catchy sing-along discofox number a level of success that is hard to achieve.
And yet all the "naysayers" were wrong: Kerstin Ott did not come back as a "one-hit wonder", but steadily wrote new songs, songs with little stories from reality, believable, special, and danceable. She has gifted her fans four albums to date, all of which landed in the Top 5 in Germany. By now, she is indispensable in any major Schlager production and has delivered duets with big stars of the scene that are impossible to overlook (Howard Carpendale, Helene Fischer). No Schlager party is complete without “Wegen Dir”, “Regenbohnenfarben”, or “Nachts Sind Alle Katzen Grau”.
Exactly that can be experienced live in all locations, with great technical effort. And to make the evening complete, she has cool guests with her. A mega-support is provided by the up-and-coming talent SAFIYA, the party-creating trio PLAYA ROUGE, and none other than the party king of the scene: OLAF HENNING with “Ich Bin Nicht Mehr Dein Clown”, “Cowboy und Indianer”, “Herzdame”, “So Eine Nacht”!
