Matilde is an Italian comedian and actress. After 18 years in Rome and five years in New York, she now lives in Berlin. She is a trained actress, offers workshops for stand-up and acting (including for Filiz Tasdan, Philipp Uckel, Daniel Luis, Maria Clara Groppler, Kristina Bogansky), and has been doing improv comedy in the American style at Comedy Café Berlin for eight years. Matilde Keizer serves in her first solo program "Lasagne im Bett" exactly what the title promises: enjoyment with a little pinch of guilt and a lot of humor. She takes her audience on a journey through her life between Rome and Berlin, between family madness and capital abysses. As an Italian in Germany, she stumbles through misunderstandings with a lot of charm. The audience encounters numerous hard-to-fulfill expectations and a mother that one might not wish for, but who is excellent for punchlines.
With radical self-irony, Matilde transforms everything life throws at her into comedy. No topic is too embarrassing, too close, or too odd for her. On the contrary: Her comedy thrives exactly where it pinches a little and simultaneously feels pleasantly warm. "Lasagne im Bett" is an evening full of moments of enjoyment that one technically shouldn't allow oneself but definitely wants to.

Short Bio:
Matilde is an Italian comedian and actress. After 18 years in Rome and five years in New York, she now lives in Berlin. She is a trained actress, leads workshops for stand-up and acting (including for Filiz Tasdan, Philipp Uckel, Daniel Luis, Maria Clara Groppler, Kristina Bogansky), and has been doing improv comedy based on the American model at Comedy Café Berlin for eight years. She was the head writer of "Shapira Shapira Show" and author of "Gute Nacht Alter"/funk.
She has performed for ZDF, at Wühlmäuse, in Admiralspalast, and in Comedy Central sketches. She has performed in New York, Reykjavik, Edinburgh, St. Petersburg, Barcelona, Rome, and in numerous German cities.
