Yasmil Raymond, co-curator of the exhibition, gives a tour through Rirkrit Tiravanija: HAPPINESS IS NOT ALWAYS FUN. She shares insights from her long-term engagement with Tiravanija's artistic practice and discusses the curatorial concept of the exhibition.
Yasmil Raymond lives and works as an independent curator in Frankfurt am Main and San Juan, Puerto Rico. From 2020 to 2024, Raymond was the director of Portikus and the rector of Städelschule. She has worked as a curator at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, at the Dia Art Foundation, New York, and at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.
