The Bonn group singing is a great fun for all generations! David Rauterberg, singer/guitarist, and Matthias Schneider on piano present the most beautiful songs to sing along – hits, evergreens, pop, and rock. Getting in tune is explicitly desired: "Singing is the most fun when you can sing loud and then with many others together!", explains Rauterberg. The Bonn group singing premiered at the Pantheon Theater in June 2014! Finally, the wait was over!
After the great success of group singing in over 30 cities in NRW and Lower Saxony with more than 4,000 group singers monthly, "group singing" finally arrived in Bonn.
And with the move of the Pantheon in 2016, there is of course group singing in the new Pantheon in Bonn-Beuel as well!

Several outstanding pianists from classical, contemporary music, jazz, and more will play a joint piano evening in a personal club atmosphere. With their solo repertoire choices, their interpretations, and their thematic reactions to each other, they create unique and unrepeatable piano evenings.

Why can the Austrians and Swiss operate a functional railway network despite topographical obstacles? Her singing is full of emotion, and her warm and deep voice creates a touching romantic atmosphere for the audience. Marta gives meaning to each song, and you can feel every emotion in her voice.
She sings both her own songs and classic melodies from the past written by famous composers such as Burt Bacharach, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Henry Mancini, and others.

Marta Król is a Polish jazz, soul, and pop singer, songwriter, educator, and vocal teacher.
She has released five solo albums: „The First Look“ (2011), „Thank God I’m a woman“ (2014), „Tribute To The Police“ with Paweł Tomaszewski and his band (2017), „All About Me“ (2021) and a vinyl album „Sentimental Journey“ (2022). For her debut album, she was nominated for significant music awards in Poland: „Mateusz 2011“ in the category of Debut of the Year and „Fryderyk 2012“ in the category of Jazz Phonograph Debut of the Year.
She was selected by Radio Trójka to perform at the debut concert during the 49th Polish Song Festival in Opole (2012). She is a prizewinner of national and international singing festivals, including: 1st prize at the national festival of young vocalists, Lublin 2005, special prize at the national festival of young vocalists, Lublin 2007, Grand Prix at the National English Language Song Festival, Brzeg 2007, special prize at the international jazz festival New Hope of Jazz, Łomża 2009.
She has collaborated with the most talented and leading Polish musicians, both singers and instrumentalists. In her singing, she focuses on emotional phrasing and interpretation.

In his first solo program "The Love Algorithm," Andreas Langsch creates a picture of his generation and tries to convey: Between old and young. Between internet addicted and nature fanatic. Between love and the love algorithm.
Andreas belongs to Generation Y. These are the people who can't figure out what to do with their lives and stare at their phones all day long. After school, it's always a year in... right: Australia. And then? Study, start a business, work without a break, and jump into sabbatical or burnout.
The world is rushing by! Andreas tries to keep up. But the perfection on the internet, the perfect partnership, and the highly bred self-optimizers are driving him crazy. So, he sets out in search of a solution. How can one escape this stress?
After long walks in the park, during which he witnesses a murder that will probably never be solved, philosophical thoughts about superpowers, and an unintentional pen pal, he seems to have found a solution to everything...

Regularly, it gets young, colorful, and loud in the lounge of the Bonn Pantheon when a lineup of talented emerging poets aged between 10 and 20 takes the microphone to captivate the audience and win their favor. Because only one can win the first U-20 slam of the region.

The program is hosted with wit and charm by the nationally renowned poetry slammer Jana Goller.

Experience young talents, exciting text premieres, and a competition of a special kind.

At the Rheinreden Poetry Slam, young poets compete against each other with their self-written texts. Their texts must all be presented without props, within a time limit of 6 minutes, and citations must be indicated. There are no thematic or formal requirements for the slam texts: they can be political, funny, personal, lyrical, prosaic, dadaistic, etc. The audience decides which performance they liked the most and who gets to fight for victory in the final. The location in the Pantheon is super cozy, with colorful armchairs and light bulbs hanging from the ceiling. In a living room atmosphere, the moderation leads through the colorful show with wit and authenticity. Spend your Sunday afternoon with us, treat yourself to delicious culture, and support the local small arts scene!

On political Ash Wednesday, the parties shower their political opponents with mockery and ridicule. The roots date back to the 16th century: in 1580, Bavarian farmers first met in Vilshofen on the Danube for a livestock and horse market, where they not only bargained over prices but also robustly discussed the topics of the day, including Bavarian royal politics since the 19th century (Source: Wikipedia). We can expect a final satirical flourish on Ash Wednesday, before it almost seamlessly transitions back into the next session!

PAUSE + ALICH: Fritz and Hermann, these are the two Bonn cabaret artists Rainer Pause and Norbert Alich. Since 1984, they have presided annually over the alternative Bonn carnival revue PINK PUNK PANTHEON, which is popular across the republic. They received the West Critic Prize (1993) in the Schmidttheater in Hamburg and the "Morenhovener Lupe" in the Rhineland, and didn't decline guest performances abroad (Geneva, Zurich). They have appeared in all relevant cabaret shows.

René Sydow: Sydow lets loose his sharp tongue and strikes. The cabaret prize winner questions our worldview with his unmistakable blend of dark humor, mockery, and poetry.

Matthias Deutschmann is a true figurehead of German cabaret. With a unique mix of a lot of wit, a depth of substance, and a proper pinch of musicality, Matthias Deutschmann has been delighting his audience for several decades.
Matthias Deutschmann – this name stands for intelligent cabaret away from the mainstream, for high-class entertainment, and of course for a man with many years of stage experience who knows exactly what matters.

Christl Sittenauer is an actress and cabaret artist. With her first cabaret performance, she won the prestigious St. Prosper Cabaret Prize in Erding in 2022. Since 2020, she has been a member of the ensemble of the Munich Laughter and Shooting Society and raises awareness of political issues at both macro and micro levels with her work. For over 20 years, Christl Sittenauer has passionately performed improv theater and is part of the ensemble "Bühnenpolka".

The 27-year-old Teresa Reichl from Simbach bei Landau an der Isar is a shooting star in the cabaret scene. In 2023, she was awarded the Rising Star Prize of the Bavarian Cabaret Prize. She regularly appears on the program "Schlachthof" on Bavarian Radio. Tens of thousands follow her on social media.

She is articulate, she is from Lower Bavaria, and she knows what she's doing. The cabaret artist Teresa Reichl provocatively claims that in the title of her debut program "Obacht, i kann wos!". And she keeps her word when she raises questions in connection with events from her life so far, dealing painfully with others, but above all with herself.

Why are all the poems read in German studies actually by men? Why do people still think that everyone in the village is related? What is it like to grow up in a village of 400 souls when EVERYONE knows the big brother and the parents? What if the village youth primarily turns one into: an excellent liar. When does the word "girl" stop functioning as an insult?

And what do famous bands think when their fans are ugly? Teresa Reichl interrogates herself and her audience without fear of not finding answers.

Because she has taken village life to the city, traditional gender roles into emancipation, and is figuring out how to live as a feminist, show-stealer, student, woman, and village child – and who actually has the right to impose anything on her?

Teresa Reichl's amusing inventory after almost a quarter of a century of women's life effortlessly bridges the gap between audience generations and introduces everyone to previously unknown or unpopular topics.

Anyone who has experienced an evening with her suddenly understands the dynamics behind religions (or even conspiracy theories); the balancing act is not an illusion, and feminism is no longer a dirty word.

For the third time, Daria Assmus and Marcus Schinkel invite their audience to board their sonic spaceship and explore new musical spheres together.
In the first half of the concert, the Bonn native debuts with a series of her own songs - far removed from predictable radio pop, somewhere between Billie Eilish and Bilderbuch. In her German lyrics, she addresses major societal themes, served with edgy beats, driving bass lines, and snappy brass riffs.
In the second half, the Sonic Lake Collective literally takes off: the ship steers into the vastness of the cosmos of electronic music and unfolds a hypnotic sound universe. Techno and trip-hop elements meet jazz - a symbiosis that puts the audience into trance-like states. Dense synthesizer patterns collide with lyrical piano sounds, and catchy melodies weave into a sound carpet that appears both familiar and innovative.
Daria Assmus' multifaceted voice gently guides through places of longing and grounds again and again with powerful soul timbre. Some may already know her from "Daria Assmus and the Heavy Soulband," "Daria and the Groove Foundation," or her global pop band "RasgaRasga." In 2018, she already captivated audiences with Brasssonanz in the Elbphilharmonie.
The renowned boundary-crossing pianist Marcus Schinkel moves masterfully between the genres of jazz, rock, and classical. In Bonn, he is no stranger with his programs "Crossover Beethoven" or "Classic meets Gipsy" alongside guitarist Joscho Stephan.
Alongside them, driving beats from drummer Wim de Vries, Armin Mey on synthesizer, and Florian Hertel on trombone create an exhilarating sound experience. Once again, they promise further exciting musical surprise guests!

Be there when acts are performed for the first and sometimes even the last time.

Let yourself be inspired for two hours by at least six different artists who may come from all areas of small arts. Everything that fits on our stage can be represented, from cabaret, comedy, magic, music, theater to poetry slam.

Together we experience the "Rhenish" version of our talent forge at the Bonn Pantheon.
Here, what originally started in the Bergisches Land continues, and now regularly delights the audience in Bonn: A surprise bag of small arts, open to everything and everyone.

When Christoph Fritz meets his mother, they shake hands to greet each other. Sometimes he longs for closeness so much that he is delighted by receiving spam emails or the letters addressed to the previous tenant.

But since one shouldn't respond to spam emails and secretly opening someone else's letters over steam is known not to be a lasting solution, he embarks on a search for intimacy, which he finds in places he would not have expected.

After Serdar Somuncu said goodbye to the cabaret stage in 2023, he is now returning to his roots. With his new program "Songs and Stories," Serdar Somuncu will be back on German stages starting in spring 2025.
But this time there will be no cabaret, rather a colorful evening of music and stories. As provocatively as ever, Somuncu shares stories from his life and takes us on a journey through his
musical development.
Somuncu's musical roots lie in soul and R&B; however, the stylistic range of the trained musician varies on his new tour from punk to funk and at times even sounds like the gothic rockers. In this program, Somuncu again speaks his mind.

Concert of the Local Ambassadors
as part of the Over-the-Border Festival 2025

Since 2016, the Local Ambassadors have been a central part of the Over-the-Border Festival in Bonn. Every year, this unique project presents a completely new line-up that brings together local musicians with international artists. The aim is to overcome cultural boundaries through joint rehearsals and performances, and to set a sign for recognition, understanding, and against exclusion.

In March, the Local Ambassadors invite you to an exhilarating concert at the Pantheon Theater. Under the musical direction of the virtuosic pianist Marcus Schinkel, who masterfully blends classical, jazz, and world music, a varied program will be presented. The instrumental backbone of the ensemble consists of:

Bob Vogston (Guitar): Inspiring guitarist, composer, and producer (Lipaka Studio) with a distinctive fusion of jazz and rock.
Felix Lehrmann (Drums): One of the most sought-after drummers in Germany, known for his precision and energy.
Pape Seck (Percussion): hails from the prestigious Senegalese Griot family Seck and is among the most sought-after percussionists for African music.
Ben Jud (Bass): known as "The Singing Bassist" with a wide stylistic range from funk to jazz.
Florian Hertel (Trombone): Creative trombonist and composer known for his expressive playing style. Band leader at Druckluft.
Fixi (Accordion, Arrangements): from Paris, who delights with innovative accordion arrangements, blending styles like hip-hop, musette, reggae, and afrobeat. Musical director: L‘Ultrabal

An enticing voice, a lively bass, a swinging piano. This is music that makes the feet want to dance – and so do the brushes! And they actually do: Live before the astonished viewers, they conjure up a joyfully dancing couple on the white canvas to the rhythm.

The brushes are expertly guided by Robert Nippoldt and are not the only drawing tools that make an appearance in this unique interplay of music and art. In a matter of moments, chalk, pencil, and ink are used to reconstruct the Berlin City Palace, and the Memorial Church gets its roof back. Thanks to cameras and large projections, the audience is right up close – to every stroke that the artist's hand brings to the paper with casual elegance.

Moreover, the drawings projected onto the canvas during the show are just part of the diverse repertoire. In a perfect symbiosis of sound, acting, and image, a silhouette production of Brecht's "Pirate Jenny" emerges impressively. The Comedian Harmonists dismantle a concert grand piano in visible and audible ecstasy. One strolls with keen eyes through the capital, and a slapstick number pays tribute to the beginnings of sound films. It is also amazing how one can meet all the chancellors of the Weimar Republic in just three minutes.

All of this is brought to life, commented on, and inspired by the three fabulous musicians of the Trio Grössenwahn, who breathe new life into the classics of that time with verve and humor. Even an original antique keyboard instrument experiences a surprising renaissance under the nimble hands of singer Lotta Stein.

It is the feeling of life in a special city between the world wars that these four stylishly dressed artists dedicate themselves to this evening. A Berlin that has not lost any of its charm and welcomes us with open arms. If we follow this invitation, by the end of this enjoyable excursion, we will have a glimpse of what it might have felt like back then – in the roaring twenties.

On March 30, the Bonn Pantheon will become the venue for a special musical experience: Jupiter & Okwess, the legendary band from Congo, will finally give their long-awaited concert. Planned four years ago, the performance had to be postponed due to the Corona pandemic.

Na Kozonga, the latest album by Jupiter and his band Okwess, is a burst of energy that captivates the body and nourishes the spirit. The “General of the Rebels” and his musical pyrotechnicians draw from all the rhythms of Congo and connect them with the superpowers of rock and funk. Their music is an invitation to encounters and journeys: From Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz) to Money Mark (Beastie Boys) to collaborations on the third album with samba from Rogê, rap from Marcelo D2, the brass of New Orleans, and the voice of Chilean singer and activist Ana Tijoux – Jupiter & Okwess are unafraid of wild adventures. The day after All Souls' Day, which each year so painfully interrupts the session cheerfully heralded on November 11, the Cologne local historian Martin Stankowski and the elder president of the local association Rhenania Fritz Litzmann, aka Rainer Pause, take advantage of the moment to give meaning to the day, to pause once again and reflect on death and dying, before we drown in the Christmas hustle and bustle of Santa Clauses, tinsel, and Jingle Bells.

For 30 years, Pause & Stankowski have been dealing with the history of funeral practices across times and cultures. Now they are once again lecturing and debating in their profoundly unconventional style under the motto "Those who know nothing must believe anything" about dying, death and the afterlife, burial rites and cult of the dead, and what all this has to do with people's lives. From prehistoric times through the Romans and the Middle Ages to the present day. Coffin and urn lose their terror, becoming part of everyday life.
And the by no means surprising conclusion: Life ends with death, but only in principle, not in the Rheinland.
