Presale for the 15th Licher Wiesnfest in Pohlheim starts
When thousands of people joyfully and good-naturedly stream through the streets of Pohlheim in festive attire, one thing is certain – it’s Licher Wiesnfest time again. A tradition rooted in Pohlheim and for many the highlight of the year. From April 25 to May 3, 2025, the 100-meter-long and 40-meter-wide festively decorated Licher Festhalle presents itself in all its glory for the 15th time. As well as the planned artist program for 2025.
Organizer Carsten Prill is proud: “Nowadays, it is not a given to organize a festival of this scale without issues. We too are struggling with rising costs. I thank our partner, the Licher Privatbrauerei, as well as all our sponsors for their years of loyal support. For me as an organizer, it is a heartfelt concern to give everything for the Licher Wiesnfest year after year.”
90s nostalgia at the Licher Wiesnfest with Oli P.
Three new stars will be on board next year. “Aua im Kopf” performer Tobee, Mallorca star Lorenz Büffel, and 90s cult star Oli P. will take the stage live for the first time at the big Licher Wiesnfest. Oli P. achieved cult status back in the day with his top-10 hits “Flugzeuge im Bauch” and “Girl You Know It’s True” and is one of the most sought-after German artists of that time. Many familiar faces will also be present. The Dorfrocker, the Königlich Bayrisches Vollgas Orchester, voxxclub, Isi Glück, Ikke Hüftgold, and many more will once again be part of the action over the two weekends, ready to spread good vibes among the nearly 4,500 visitors during the four Wiesnhit nights.
NEW: Dance on the Island with Ballermann Radio on Tour
For the first time, there will be a change in the program on April 30. The popular radio station Ballermann Radio presents the Dance on the Island that evening with two Radio Party DJs and brings fresh winds and Mallorca party vibes to the Licher Festhalle. Presale for this will start shortly.
Classic car meeting and brunch for young and old on May 1 – 1st Pohlheim Classic celebrates its premiere
The 1st Pohlheim Classic is the motto on May 1. Whether as a classic car enthusiast or simply as a visitor, when the owners drive onto the site with their prized possessions, it’s an absolute highlight for everyone. The Licher Festhalle will be open for the first time that day with a full food offering. For the appropriate musical entertainment in Rockabilly style, the Boogie Banausen and the band The Heads from Marburg will be performing. With their lively Rock’n’Roll hits from the 50s, there will be plenty of dancing. Admission on this day is free.
