2. Gaggenauer Bluesfestival - Kombi-Ticket
The highlight for blues lovers in the region
In May, the klag stage will once again become a blues club! Following a fantastic kick-off last year, the audience can look forward to a mix of regional and national blues bands over two evenings.
Friday, 23.05.:
Non Blues Ultra
The three musicians are no strangers to the regional scene; they have lived through the era of their music and play blues classics with great virtuosity and a focus on the originals. The fact that a unique, individual sound emerges is thanks to the quality of the musicians.
Gregor Hilden Organ Quartet
Funky, bluesy, jazzy – when Gregor Hilden, Wolfgang Roggenkamp, and Dirk Brand perform alongside bassist Sascha Oeing, it promises to be an exhilarating and versatile gig with a high musicality and fun factor! Hilden knows the blues guitar like few others. Speaking of two: the two-manual Hammond organ with Leslie box will also be hauled onto the stage!
Saturday, 24.05.:
Rabbitears
Once again, the band led by Roland Hasenohr, initiator and program maker of the blues festival, will open Saturday evening. The almost family-like band will truly bluesify the audience with groovy, danceable songs.
Hamburg Blues Band
40 years of St. Pauli Blues! The Hamburg Blues Band with Hamburg rock shouter Gert Lange, Reggie Worthy (Ike & Tina Turner, Eric Burdon), drummer Eddie Filipp (Sweet, Inga Rumpf, Clem Clempson Band), and the exceptional 30-year-old guitarist Krissy Matthews ("This guy is the real deal" /Beth Hart) presents songs from over 4 decades of HBB. A musical fireworks display with real characters.
Jimmy Reiter Band
This band is currently among the top bands in the blues scene. Reiter's debut album "High Priest Of Nothing" was awarded the Prize of the German Record Critic, and the win of the German Blues Award as the best German blues band and Reiter's designation as "best contemporary blues artist" (Blues-in-Germany) followed. At the 2nd Gaggenauer Blues Festival, the band will perform in a quartet formation (gui., dr., bass, org.).
The discounted combo ticket for both evenings is priced at €50.00 / reduced €38.00. Individual tickets for Friday and Saturday are also available.
