Burlage. After the performances of Kerstin Ott, Norman Langen, Anna-Maria Zimmermann, Marry, Michelle, Mickie Krause, Beatrice Egli, and many others at the Burlager-Blaulicht-Partys, on October 26, 2024, DJ Ötzi will shake the stage and the festival tent. Together with "Sarah Zucker", "Diese Typen", and "Sven K.", a fireworks display of good mood will be set off again in Burlage. For the first time, "Antenne Schlager" presents the event.
In the summer of 2018, Ötzi was already in Burlage and promised, "I will come back," and... he is coming!
Gerry Friedle (DJ Ötzi) was born on January 7, 1971, in St. Johann, Tyrol, Austria. He grew up with foster parents and his grandmother. He learned the dark sides of life early on: the Tyrolean was homeless for some time and lived on the streets. He never lost his optimism and zest for life.
In 1999, the tide turned: overnight, he became a superstar with "Anton aus Tirol." Today, DJ Ötzi is considered one of the most successful singers in the German-speaking world. The singer with the famous white cap has sold over 16 million CDs. He is the only artist to have two million-selling singles in Germany: "Anton aus Tirol" and "Ein Stern, der deinen Namen trägt." "Anton aus Tirol" remains the best-selling Austrian single to this day. A Stern was number 1 in the annual charts in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland and is the best-selling single in Germany. In the Ultimate Chart Show of the network RTL, the song was placed at number 1 of the "most successful songs of the new millennium." In England, DJ Ötzi was awarded Gold and Platinum as the first Austrian artist.
In 2018, Gerry fulfilled a dream and went on a solo concert tour nationwide for the first time in DJ Ötzi's history with his band. The DJ Ötzi Summit is a 2-hour hit fireworks display - alongside his greatest German and English party hits, fans could also experience a very emotional and calming side of DJ Ötzi. The success proves him right: after more than successful premiere, fans can look forward to a continuation 3 weeks - 12 tour stops and full concert halls later!
Gerry is also committed to social issues. Despite all his successes, he has never forgotten what it is like when things are not going well, which is why he supports charity projects such as the Wärmestube in Salzburg (www.waermestube.at) and is an ambassador for Wings for Life - Foundation for Spinal Cord Research.
Sarah Zucker was born on August 20, 1990, in Laichingen, Baden-Württemberg. She studied childhood education and worked as a childhood educator in Berlin until 2019. The joy of life – a motif that has always run through Sarah Zucker's songs in one way or another. With celebrated hits like "Ohne dich" or "La vie est belle," the charming singer-songwriter captivated millions across all major TV shows by Florian Silbereisen, Roland Kaiser, and Giovanni Zarrella, and quickly made an excellent name for herself within the German-speaking music scene. An exceptional status that the Berliner further expanded with her similarly streamed top 14 debut album "Wo mein Herz ist." Her solo single "Un deux trois" climbed to the top 6 of the radio charts in conservative radio, and her collaboration with Marina Marx, where the two powerful women reimagined the well-known Mark Forster hit "Übermorgen" for Amazon Music, was also streamed millions of times.
