1. Wolfhager Lachnacht - mit Lutz von Rosenberg Lipinsky, HG Butzko, Sascha Korf, Dagmar Schönleber und Roger Stein
On April 11, 2025, there will be laughter in Wolfhagen! A fantastic mix of cabaret and comedy awaits you. Providing top-notch entertainment are: HG Butzko, Sascha Korf, Dagmar Schönleber, and Roger Stein.
The evening will be hosted by Lutz von Rosenberg Lipinsky. He is known as "Germany's funniest chaplain." For years, he has been caring for the German soul in an entertaining and intelligent way. Currently, the German soul is in turmoil as democracy is in danger, according to some. Others claim we do not live in a democracy. It's time to discuss what "rule of the people" really means. We get agitated, question everything, want to know it all, and then oppose it all. It's time to consider: Do we really want and can we have democracy? Is it inevitable? Perhaps we should try something different: monarchy, plentocracy, theocracy, autocracy, or anarchy. Maybe one day we will be content? And get what we want: our peace!
The guests of the evening, who guarantee a lively atmosphere and top entertainment, include:
HG Butzko, who started doing cabaret 25 years ago, now takes a look at the payment reminders of the last quarter-century. It's time to take stock and settle scores with the tricksters, deceivers, the blind and the charlatans, the elected and the voters, the butchers, and the calves. The Gelsenkirchen-based brain pacemaker of German cabaret sheds light once more on all the lies, cover-ups, and false promises of the last 25 years in politics, economics, and media. Well, not all of them. Otherwise, the program would last four days.
Sascha Korf is Germany's most famous spontaneity expert. Few can interact as quickly as the lively half-Cologne, half-Spanish performer, who offers a rapid mix of stand-up and improvisation in his shows. Quick-witted and hilarious, Sascha Korf sets off a linguistic fireworks display. This ability, mastered by the grandmaster of quick thinking par excellence, has earned him numerous awards. Thomas Hermanns refers to him as the "improv machine." Bastian Pastewka calls him "the hurricane of comedy." And in his regular theater, Gloria in Cologne, he is simply known as "Cult-Korf." The audience can expect an exquisite mix, a grab bag that leads to a different evening every time and holds a few surprises.
Dagmar Schönleber represents intelligent cabaret with heart and attitude while also embracing silliness. She addresses socially relevant topics while maintaining optimism and focusing on the touching little things in everyday life that can brighten one's day in a crisis-ridden world. Whether it's about relationships with vacuum cleaner robots or the future of humanity – Dagmar Schönleber cares about the small problems as much as the general survival of species – and she does so with a lot of feeling. Or rather, with many feelings: from anger to joy. She combines punk rock with poetry, herself with the audience, and words with music, whether with a guitar or booming beats, ballads, or disco. In short: everything from "Whoops!" to "Hooray!" is included, and she has received multiple awards for her performances.
Roger Stein offers rousing music-impish entertainment between comedy songs, songwriting, and post-romanticism. With powerful versatility, self-irony, and charm, he energetically and lyrically navigates through his program, providing a fiery guide to disciplined rebelliousness, not holding back – but not without a sense of humor! With razor-sharp rhyme technique, he delves into the depths of satire and poetry, topples simplistic metaphors, and lets language loose on itself. Cleverly blending hip-hop elements with German song tradition, he designs his own musical style.
Doors open at 7 PM.
