After three successful albums, all of which were placed in the German charts (highest position #24), as well as numerous tours and performances at the most important festivals in Germany and Europe, John Diva will return to the stage in 2025 with a reissue of their stunning 80s rock tribute show.
A brief look back: With this show, the breathtaking quintet led by front magician John Diva took the Wacken Open Air by storm almost exactly 10 years ago in front of thousands of enthusiastic spectators and developed into arguably the best and hottest tribute band for 80s hard rock on the continent in the following years. Nowhere else could you relive the heroes of yesteryear more authentically, while John Diva never appeared to be a copy. He and his four rock musketeers seemed to revive the genre, injecting authentic new energy and meaning with an electrifying and wild show.
So, 2025 is the year:
Under the title JOHN DIVAS TRIBUTE TO THE HEROES - because that’s what it’s all about here - John Diva and his band will take on the biggest hits of the decade again. The born entertainer John Diva will guide the audience through a superlative show, flanked by a band that is seasoned in every way - and musically makes no compromises. With songs by Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, and many others, the great heroes and stadium rock of the 80s will be dusted off and uniquely celebrated. It's no coincidence that the band has the reputation of being the best of its kind. Alongside mega anthems like “Living on a Prayer,” “Paradise City,” and “Here I Go Again,” the great ballads of that time will also be present.
Almost unnecessary to mention, alongside the music, everything else about John Diva rocks so hard that you have to be careful not to get whiplash from partying too hard. The outfits of the five gentlemen are no less authentic than a walk down Sunset Strip on a Saturday night in 1987. And while many rock bands are usually stuck in shades of black, the stage at John Diva glitters and sparkles in various colors of the palette. If you're lucky - or ask nicely - he might even bring his cheerleader team along. Either way: when John Diva takes the stage next year with TRIBUTE TO THE HEROES, there will be no stopping, neither for the band, John himself - and certainly not for the audience.
