Annette Kruhl
ACTUALLY, I WANTED TO BE A MOVIE STAR
Musical cabaret
What did we actually want to become and where do we stand today? Are our dreams just illusions or a signpost for our true destiny? Or can we sometimes consider ourselves lucky when they don't come true? Comedian Annette Kruhl also asks herself such questions on the occasion of her 25th stage anniversary. Consequently, she presents highlights from her repertoire, as well as lots of new material, and draws an amusing career balance: becoming a movie star hasn't worked out so far, but she has achieved quite a few other things. The Berlin transplant talks about her job as a television writer for SAT.1, what she made out of the offer to write a song for Schlager star Andrea Berg, and shares quirky anecdotes from the life of a comedian. But this program also has a lot of musical highlights to offer, as this is one of Kruhl's great strengths. Her hit "Summer in Berlin" and her anthem to Bavarian men are not missing on this evening, as well as her spot-on parody of Helene Fischer. Last but not least, Kruhl sheds light on the peculiar flirting behavior of German men and what Alice Schwarzer has to do with it, explains how the people from Hamburg have found the solution to all relationship problems, and why so-called great women mostly remain single. She convinces as usual with authenticity and entertaining depth.
