Silvesterkonzert - Festliches für Trompete, Violine & Orgel
Oliver Lakota (trumpet soloist) presents festive highlights of Baroque music on New Year's Eve, accompanied by Bach prizewinner Pavel Svoboda (Prague). The concert will also feature guest violinist Iva Kramperová, concertmaster of the Pardubice Philharmonic. Known trumpet pieces such as the famous D major Suite by George Frideric Handel or the D major Concerto by Antonio Vivaldi will be performed, along with two solemn chorales by Johann Sebastian Bach - "Nun komm der Heiden Heiland" and "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." Solo pieces for violin and organ, as well as Johann Sebastian Bach's famous "Toccata and Fugue," will also be part of the program. The three musicians have a long-standing relationship and have achieved international concert success together, including tours in Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
