Andreas Martin Hofmeir - Kein Aufwand! Teil 2 – Die letzten Jahre
Musical-comedic reading by and with Andreas Martin Hofmeir and his tuba Fanny, trumpet Franz, and trombone Frau Griesmeier with jazz piano.
For several years now, Andreas Martin Hofmeir, ECHO Klassik award winner, tuba professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and founding member of the Bavarian cult band LaBrassBanda, has been causing a stir in theaters, pubs, and small cabaret stages around the world. On both sides of the "white sausage equator", audiences and press alike have celebrated his musical-comedic reading "No Effort!". With the second part of this incomparable cabaret music program, new stories are now added about the recent years. It was a triumphant comeback when Hofmeir, in the spring of 2013, set foot - or rather his butt - back on a cabaret stage. Although he already had some trinkets on his mantelpiece (Golden White Sausage, Executioner's Axe, "Koggenzieher", etc.) thanks to the Star Fours and the Quality Commission, after years in the diaspora of classical seriousness, he was drawn back to the humorous field. Since then, he has been telling, acclaimed by the press, loved by the audience, in his typical dry style, about his tragicomic experiences as a tubist and world traveler. In "No Effort! Part 2 - The Last Years", Hofmeir kicks it up a notch: In addition to his musical partner on jazz piano and his tuba Fanny, he also brings along the trumpet Franz and the trombone Frau Griesmeier. In the best tradition of Gerhard Polt, he tells more quirky and true stories from his life: about world record attempts in taking breaks, the globally unique duo of tuba and porn actress, the downfall of a whole legion by a conscript pianist, and his time with LaBrassBanda. And so, the second part of his reading tour once again fills halls to capacity and receives enthusiastic press coverage.
Doors open at 7:30 PM.
