HARRY G - HoamStories
He doesn't give a damn. More accurately than with this edgy Bavarian saying, you can't describe the Munich-based comedian Harry G, who obviously has little interest in the famous "Bussi Bussi" and "Schickeria." Clear words, keen observations, quirky humor, a short fuse when it comes to social injustices, and fearlessness towards everything and everyone: Those who attend a show by Harry G must expect to be entertained in such a multifaceted and emotional way for over 90 minutes that they end up just as exhausted as after a brisk climb up the Wallberg. An evening with Harry G is not for resting, it is an evening full of energy and intensity that as a viewer one simply cannot and does not want to escape.
HoamStories - the title of the fourth program of the successful comedian Harry G, which will start in January 2024 - is another pun that should once again make it clear that Bavaria is much more than the well-known "Mia san Mia." Rather, it aims to illustrate the openness and zeitgeist that can be perfectly reconciled with Bavarian tradition and way of life. In HoamStories, Harry G turns his latest observations from his everyday life into the theme, where the audience often recognizes themselves embarrassingly. Harry G puts the "ordinary life" in such a light that there isn't a dry eye in the house. Almost always due to laughter, but also because some quirks are simply tear-inducing. Stories from and about Bavaria. HoamStories indeed.
What began with amusing videos in social media in 2013 has developed into an extraordinary stage success. In his programs 'Living with the Isarpreiß' (2014), '#HarrydieEhre' (2016), and HoamBoy (2020), Harry G enthralled his audience in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as a contemporary ambassador of Bavarian way of life, in the Bavarian capital alone with 17 sold-out shows at the renowned Circus Krone. Starting in January 2024, Harry G continues this success story with his fourth program HoamStories.
