Fee Brembeck - "Komm du erst mal aus meinem Alter!"
Fee Brembeck
“Komm du erst mal aus meinem Alter!”
Growing older is exhausting, and being young is tiring too. Luckily, Fee Brembeck, the cabaret artist, author, poetry slammer, and opera singer, awakens generations with her new program. In this, she appears as a generational whisperer and combines poetic and thoughtful ideas with humor and social criticism.
Amid fossil worldviews, climate activists, and gender activists, she communicates, raises the pressing questions of our time, and answers them. Unless she has no answer. Then at least she poses new questions! Why is the younger generation considered woke, yet doesn’t want to get up early? At what point does one become an old white man, and can they still play along? And how does one navigate gender roles both forward and backward?
Self-deprecating, critical, but always lovingly, Fee Brembeck looks at her own generation and its absurdities, as well as the peculiarities of those who can afford tickets to cabaret shows. An evening for young and old, uniquely combining humor with social criticism. In the end, as stated by the Süddeutsche Zeitung, “there is no choice but to let this fairy enchant you.”
