ECHOKAMMER 2025
Welcome to another edition of our Echokammer! Here, not only is the sound amplified, but also the feeling. "I feel something on my skin and it makes sense. If you are reading me and are into it. Letting me touch you and touching me. Amplifier. Amplifier," said a famous Hamburg band once. And so we once again clear out the theater hall and invite you to our pulsating amplifier room.
Line-Up:
GRIM104 (Hamburg)
From the Empire to the End of the Night: After the success of his solo album "Imperium" and the subsequent tour, Grim104 is now back on stage, this time at the End of the Night. His singles "Risse," "Stadtfuchs," and "Ende Der Nacht" ft Paula Engels set the sound that will lead him to a total of seven cities and a new release – dark, electronic, hypnotic. But of course, the other releases from recent years will also find their place: "Imperium," "Das Grauen, Das Grauen," and the legendary "grim104" EP will be celebrated on and off stage!
TRAMHAUS (Rotterdam)
Tramhaus is the daring post-punk sensation from the restless and always innovative city of Rotterdam. In their relatively short existence, Tramhaus has managed to make a name for themselves far beyond the borders of their hometown. Shaped by their joyful and energetic experience, the band has proven that they can convey this message both live and on record. The music of Tramhaus feels like the soundtrack to a lively, mysterious, and dangerous story. There is no room for lounging back, as the band takes you on a drag race full of emotions and euphoria, powered by streamlined, fiery songs mixed with fragile and abstract tones. This whole spectacle is driven by the almost symbiotic relationship between the five band members.
SUBACT (Dresden)
A rough mix! From the heart to the soul and straight to the dance floor. Pulsating electronic music intertwines with intense live drums. Sometimes dark and surreal, sometimes twisted psychedelically. Sometimes driving techno, sometimes trap, electro, bass music. Dub also says hello and passes by with a cheeky smile. The drums always push forward. From deep inside, Subact takes you far ahead. Deep Rave? SUBACT!
ELECTROLYTES (Dresden)
Here, the dance is taking place in the Bermuda Triangle between indie-disco dance floor, fuzz-garage, and club stage! Synthwave cascades with ultra-pop melodies that often slide into minor but still bask in the sunshine meet guitar riffs that etch themselves into long-term memory. The Dresden quartet comprises active musicians from renowned projects (Nowaves, Tokamak Reaktor, Adrats, Anarya) coming together to break out of the melancholy comfort zone, but without slipping into feel-good triviality. Bassist Sanni uses her vocals to pull all registers from cool to exuberant, giving the tracks a charismatic finish. Alongside absolute bangers, the tempo is also lovingly dialed down for some tracks – perfectly suited for that very special time on the dance floor when dawn approaches, and the last dry ice fog clouds gently envelop you.
