Irina Titova - Queen of Sand - Es war einmal in Hollywood...
She came with a handful of sand and conquered the hearts of her audience with her extraordinary talent. Irina Titova is the "QUEEN OF SAND" and understands like no other how to capture the fleeting moment and turn it into a magical moment on the canvas. Since her first tour in Germany in 2018, she has enchanted her viewers, taking them on a sensational journey "Around the World in 80 Pictures," and will finally delight many with a new sand painting show in 2025. It is all about "The Fabulous World of Film." The audience accompanies a young man on his exciting journey and dives into the most beautiful and famous movie scenes from the dream factory of Hollywood. With breathtaking speed, the Sand Queen creates her images on a glass panel illuminated from below, which are then projected onto a screen. Here, the protagonist made of sand encounters all the big and small heroines and heroes of our favorite films. He meets the alien E.T. who desperately wants to phone home and consoles him with true friendship in his homesickness. Riding with the luck dragon Falcor from "The NeverEnding Story," he soars over the seas, travels with Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the DeLorean "Back to the Future," listens to the famous song in "Casablanca" with Ingrid Bergman once again, and finally sits on the legendary park bench as Forrest Gump eating chocolates. And maybe afterward, he meets the girl of his dreams, helps her with the watermelon, and they dance together into a happy ending?
Forrest Gump's mom always said life is like a box of chocolates - and so is the Sand Artist's show. You never know what comes next; Irina's hands and the sand are in constant motion as she skillfully sprinkles it onto the glass with impressive precision, breathing life into it. The scenes seamlessly blend into each other, surprising, inspiring, enchanting, and, in the meantime, the audience also learns about the history of Hollywood's origins.
Accompanied by the distinctive voice of the internationally renowned German actor Sky Du Mont as the narrator and the famous melodies of Hollywood's most sought-after composers like Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, or Giorgio Moroder, the talented artist creates a unique atmosphere every evening. As the director and author of this fabulous journey through the world of film, the well-known Austrian actor Alexander Jagsch has been enlisted.
Amidst the most beautiful memories of unforgettable moments and a bittersweet nostalgia that nothing lasts forever, each audience member savors the fascination of the moment with each grain of sand. Has our young hero truly experienced all this, or was it just a dream? One thing is certain, the story is too beautiful to be untrue. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
