Zirkus Fantastica - Uraufführung I Première de création
(English version below)
by Edzard Schoppmann
For small and big dreamers aged 5 and up
The stage is set for imagination! In Zirkus Fantastica, anything is possible! Clown Pippo, tightrope walker Nella, and circus horse Dante let their dreams run wild. I want to soar high! Gallop wildly! Philosophize! they call out. With great commotion and fanfare, they circle the arena singing: Boom Bam Bap, we do what we like. Zip Zap Pack, we roam the world! Even the Good-Night Guardian Sleepyhead joins in enthusiastically.
But sometimes courage can fade away. Pippo feels jittery and scared. Nella feels butterflies in her stomach. All four feel the big jitters. But when they sing: Dare to do it, dare to do it, even if it goes wrong! All their fears are blown away. It can snow, thunder, and storm, in Zirkus Fantastica, all dreams come true.
Performing, singing, and swirling through the air are: Sarah Herrmann, Hans Diehl, Falk Döhler, and Thomas Cermak, directed by Edzard Schoppmann.
Duration: approx. 70 min.
In German with a little French (accessible without knowledge of French)

For small and big dreamers
Place for fantasy! At Zirkus Fantastica, everything is possible! Clown Pippo, tightrope walker Nella, and the circus horse Dante let their dreams run free. I want to soar up to the clouds! Gallop wildly! Philosopher! they exclaim. In a great whirlwind and a big fuss, they circle the ring singing: Bim Bam Boom, we do what we enjoy.
Zip Sack Pack, we explore the world! Even Mr. Sleep, the night guardian, happily joins in the singing.
But sometimes courage leaves us. Pippo starts to feel anxious. Nella's stomach tightens. All four tremble with fear. But when they sing: Dare, dare, even if it doesn’t work out! All their fears fly away. It can snow, thunder can rumble, and the storm can rise, at Zirkus Fantastica, all dreams become reality.
