The individual expression in the picture
This workshop is about moving away from everyday visual habits, developing new ideas, gathering insights, and increasing one's own art in expression. The goal is to discover a variety of new possibilities that are important for achieving an individual visual language.
Ingrid Jureit gives short lectures in the course and refers to important theories. She also shows relevant visual material to provide inspiration necessary for personal artistic development. Participants learn significant details for acquiring their own ways of expression, or the painterly implementation of a subjective idea. Practice sessions round off the painting lessons.
“I will support each participant on their journey to find or further develop their own artistic form of expression,” promises the artist.
As basic working materials, participants should bring a sketchbook A4, acrylic blocks and/or canvases, as well as individual colors. Additional materials are available and provided.
The two-day course will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, and Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 11 am to 6 pm in the Museum workshop at the Stadtmuseum Hofheim at Burgstr. 11.
Participants are also asked to bring suitable clothing for painting and packed lunches.
Course fee: 90 euros for two days of 7 hours each (please bring to the start of the course).
