ONAIR stands for unique quality: four creative personalities, four strong solo voices, coming together to form a furious a cappella band with a distinctive, homogenous ensemble sound. Technically at the highest level, musically demanding, with dedication to the music, captivating and touching in all facets of live art. And ONAIR will present this experience on 08.11.2024 at the Pumpwerk. For 10 years, the band has been thrilling their audience worldwide with their unique a cappella pop style. After numerous national and international awards, countless musical highs, and enthusiastic fans around the world, the band will end their unique musical journey in 2024 with an emotional farewell tour, each going on to new creative paths and writing new chapters of life. The decision was anything but easy for the band members, who have also grown very close personally over the years. But, to quote Oscar Wilde: Sometimes we must be willing to let go of the life we had planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. And so, in NEW BORN, ONAIR tells musical stories of new beginnings and changes, of doors opening, lights at the end of dark tunnels, new chapters of life, and exciting journeys into a world full of possibilities. In a time characterized not only for the band members by diverse changes and upheavals, NEW BORN aims to be a musical encourager and a powerful beacon. NEW BORN represents a spirit of departure, a zest for life, and excitement for the future. The setlist of NEW BORN will be a retrospective of the band's most important milestones and at the same time offer space for emotional new compositions, allowing the audience to once again immerse themselves in the unmistakable "onair" sound cosmos.
