MICHAEL SCHULTE looks back on six successful studio albums, eight consecutive top 10 radio singles, well over a billion streams of his songs and videos, and millions of enthusiastic fans who cheered for him on headliner tours, festivals, and captivating performances like the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, where he finished a sensational 4th place in 2018.
The successful singer-songwriter is now ready to launch his seventh studio album: "Remember Me" is the name of the LP, for which MICHAEL SCHULTE took a lot of time for inspiration to reflect quietly:
About everything that has happened in the four years since the last LP "Highs & Lows" and what he has experienced in his over ten-year career, the arrival of his children - the musician is a proud father of two sons - and his family as a place of retreat for recharging. Achievements, losses, friendships, and decisions that have shaped his life, like signing his contract with Universal Music Germany in 2021, are also themes.
"What have I achieved? What will remain of me, how will people remember me someday?" - SCHULTE asks existential questions on the new album. With "Remember Me," the North German artist presents his possibly most thoughtful, personal, and powerful album to date and has excited his fans with a few previews:
The five singles from the album have climbed into the top 10 of the German radio charts, such as the pop ballad "Stay," the 80s-inspired pop song "With You," and the riveting "Waterfall," a collaboration with DJ and electro producer R3HAB, which reached the 3rd place in the German airplay charts with 85 million streams.
The danceable track is no exception, as with "Better Me," he presents another collaboration with R3HAB. "I love to sing to dance beats, and continuing this journey with R3HAB just feels good," confirms MICHAEL SCHULTE. Equally captivating is the dance single "Better Me" and the poppy "Bye Bye Bye," a collaboration with the German hitmaker duo YouNotUs (Alle Farben, Nico Santos, Aka Aka).
With this album, MICHAEL SCHULTE has probably presented the most varied and multi-faceted record of his career so far - and in live performances, one can look forward to an absolutely thrilling show, which will surely delight the guests with all the highs and hits, great new songs, and MICHAEL SCHULTE in his best form.
