Jakob Schwerdtfeger „Ich sehe was, was Du nicht siehst, und das ist Kunst“
How can a black square be art? Why is artist's crap sold at gold prices? And the big question: Can I do that too?
Jakob Schwerdtfeger is an art historian and stand-up comedian. Full of passion, he wanders through the history of art, discusses the highlights, and compiles his own favorite exhibition. He knows the most exciting stories behind the works, tells incredible anecdotes from the museum, and offers endless fun facts and party knowledge. Dalí walked a giant anteater. Da Vinci's greatest work became a target for archers. And Frida Kahlo's art gets its own seat on airplanes. Schwerdtfeger is an art junkie and spends every free minute in the museum. He talks about the boldest art thefts, the craziest forgeries, and the most absurd record prices. In the end, there are more than ten reasons why art makes life better and why we should go to the museum more often. "I wish there were more people who could talk about art as well and as easily." Till Reiners. The book excites both art novices and art nerds alike and reached 16th place on the Spiegel bestseller list.
