Workshop leader: Dr. Malloy
The advanced workshop by Dr. Malloy seamlessly follows the main lecture and focuses on the development of the child's brain. The cellular networks of the brain reflect the psychosocial contexts experienced throughout life and the learning experiences made, both positive and negative. Personality development and learning occur at the cellular level, especially in the highly plastic phases of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. Genetic factors play a crucial role, which, according to the latest findings in epigenetics, are not "set in stone," but can be directly influenced, altered, disrupted, or even healed by environmental stimuli. Learn how to activate positive developmental processes in children, inhibit negative processes, and strengthen children holistically.
