TOM GAEBEL & HIS ORCHESTRA - NUR DAS BESTE - DIE GROSSE JUBILÄUMSTOUR
The year 2025 is set to be one big party for Tom Gaebel, as two anniversaries are on the horizon: Tom Gaebel & His Orchestra are celebrating their 20th anniversary, and he himself will turn 50. Good reasons to polish the patent leather shoes, take to the stage, and toast with the fans to himself, life, music, and an exciting career.
On Saturday, May 17, 2025, starting at 8 p.m., the musicians will be doing just that with the audience at the Wittenberg Culture and Festival House. That's when the grand anniversary tour will arrive in the Elbe city, presenting "Only the Best" from Tom Gaebel and his orchestra.
Stefan Raab introduced the then completely unknown young man in tux and bow tie on his TV Total New Year's Eve show in 2004. By the fall of 2005, Tom Gaebel presented himself to a large audience with "Introducing: Myself". From the get-go, he filled a musical niche somewhere between Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé, between New York and Las Vegas, and was considered the German answer to classic American entertainment.
That was followed by 20 exciting and successful years with eleven album productions and corresponding concert tours, countless Sinatra concerts, film hits from James Bond & Co., and TV shows. Tom Gaebel even wrote his own Swinging Christmas cookbook, fitting for his annual Christmas tours. He delighted the audience at the Wittenberg Festival House at the end of 2022 with his Christmas program.
When, in May 2025, he brings "Only the Best" from his musical career to the stage and already faces the dilemma of choice, he must also find time in his program to present his brand-new twelfth album, set to be released for his 50th birthday.
