1. Wittenberger Lachnacht - mit Ole Lehmann, Sascha Korf, Ingmar Stadelmann, Dagmar Schönleber und Roger Stein
On Friday, March 21, 2025, the Wittenberger Lachnacht kicks off its first round. Germany's best comedy stars - united on one stage! From 8 p.m., guests of the Kultur- und Festspielhaus can expect a fantastic mix of cabaret, comedy, and lots of fun!
The evening will be hosted by the cheerful Ole Lehmann, who started his comedy career over 30 years ago at the newly opened Quatsch Comedy Club in Hamburg. Now, he's dusting off and bringing his funniest comedy numbers back to the stage with a new shine.
It will be difficult to choose the best among these numbers. Will it be the stadium horn that brings fun back into everyday life, or the screaming entertainers at the holiday club? Will it be the cheerful spy phone call with the pizza delivery person, or perhaps the humorous announcements of the train conductors? Will Ole talk about Darth Vader's private life or the sparkling vampire from Twilight? And does Adolf still work at the post office, and does Louis work at a bakery in Berlin? No one knows, not even Ole himself. "You just have to engage with Lehmann's special style of humor: always open, always honest, sometimes cheeky, always funny and direct." (Allgäuer Zeitung)
He has invited the following guests:
Sascha Korf, Germany's most famous spontaneity expert. Few interact as quickly as the lively half-Cologner, half-Spaniard who offers a rapid mix of stand-up and improvisation during his performances. Quick-witted and hilarious, Sascha Korf ignites a firework of language, a skill mastered excellently by the grandmaster of quick thinking, who has been awarded numerous prizes. Thomas Hermanns refers to him as an "improv machine". Bastian Pastewka calls him "the hurricane of comedy". and in his resident theater Gloria in Cologne, he is simply known as "Kult-Korf".
Audiences can expect an exquisite mix, a grab bag that holds some surprises.
Ingmar Stadelmann, infamous and honored as an investigative comedian and rough-and-tumble Ossi, grabs the current absurdities, dissects them, and triumphs with virtuously brutal punchlines that leave his audience breathless - with laughter and amazement. It all started in the old-fashioned province of Altmark, more precisely in Salzwedel, where he was born and raised. Here, nudism and rebellion shaped his unwavering will for punchlines and molded him into a "genuine stage animal" (Göttinger Tagblatt). Successes were plenty: from comedy awards to acclaimed radio formats, entertainment shows for Pro7, and his own late-night "Abendshow" for RBB.
Dagmar Schönleber stands for intelligent cabaret with heart and attitude, while still enjoying silliness. She addresses socially relevant topics and maintains optimism and a focus on the touching details of daily life that can save your day in a crisis-stricken world. Whether it's about the relationship with vacuum robot cleaners or the future of humanity, Dagmar Schönleber cares about the small problems as well as the general survival of species - and does so with a lot of emotions. She combines punk rock with poetry, herself with the audience, and words with music, whether with a guitar or fat beats, ballad or disco. In short: everything from "Oops!" to "Hooray!" and all of it has been awarded multiple times.
Roger Stein offers captivating music-rascal entertainment between comedy songs, songwriting, and post-romanticism. With powerful versatility, self-irony, and charm, he rascals through his program with multiple instruments and rhymes, providing a fiery guide for disciplined rebelliousness - pointing fingers but not without the middle finger! With razor-sharp rhyme technique, he explores the depths of satire and poetry, dismantles simple metaphors, and cleverly blends hip-hop elements with German song tradition, creating his own unique music style.
All the comedians together provide the audience with the best material to test their laughter muscles thoroughly! So, if you want a good laugh, securing your tickets as soon as possible is the way to go.
Doors open: 7:30 p.m.
